This hotel was picked by my family to stay one night before our cruise. It was a nice hotel. It had a nice patio area where everyone could hang out and get drinks.

We had an oceanfront room on the top floor. The views were great and we were able to watch a rocket launch from our balcony. We were walking distance to the Pier. Loved the walk-in shower.

We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise so if you are trying to plan the same type of stay here is some info I think will be useful. We took an Uber to the hotel from MCO ( $68 and took maybe 40 min). The hotel provides a shuttle to your cruise port ( $15/ person). There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance from the hotel. From fast food to “nice” restaurants, you won’t have a problem walking to get food. There is also a grocery store that’s an easy walk from the hotel ( maybe 6-7 minutes )for things you may have forgotten for your cruise. The beach is also an easy walk away ( maybe two blocks). The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. While it’s not new and doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a new hotel, as a place to rest and get organized the night before your cruise it is an absolute no brainer for the price and location. If I were coming to cocoa beach for a week this is the first place I would try to stay because of what you get for the money.

A beach town that makes you wanna soak up the sun and surf some waves. Many interesting restaurants and amenities with friendly staff. I loved the beachy relax vibe. Also, it appeared to be dog friendly; wished I knew this to bring my pup! We loved "Salty Sisters bar and grill", we enjoyed both the food and the ambiance; very laid back. Getting around was easy but you do need to have a car for transportation. Definetely bring a mosquito repellent and sunblock! We did the Bioluminescent kayaking and should've done more research about best locations and time for these, we did not see many comb jelly glow and worse I developed an allergic dermatitis to something in the water. Lastly, we visited the "Kennedy Space Center" and one day was enough to see the facilities (though I am not a space enthusiast).

I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it is an older and unkept facility. The room was dirty and not properly cleaned. The bed sunk low and was in need of a new mattress. Old furniture and furnishings in the room. Lamp wasn't working and tv remotes with no back to hold batteries. They had to be replaced.
See pictures below.

Cocoa Beach is a laid back surfer town and is close to Port Canaveral. We stayed here the day before our cruise departure. There are a lot of good restaurants and there is a Winn-Dixie and Publix. The beach is nice and clean.

The rooms were spacious, but the furnature was cheap. The ocean view was good, but rather far away. it was too cold to try the pool. It just wasnt up to to our standards. and there were no pictures on the sight I booked the reservation on.I would not have booked there if there were pictures.

I was only at the hotel one night and it was awful.
I was only at the hotel one night and it was awful. We stayed because it was a short drive to the port. Will not stay again. We had dinner at IHOP, it was not that great. After check-out, we had breakfast at McDonald's. It was as expected. We didn't visit any lical sites.
Property is situated in an amazing spot.
I think the hotel is being refurbished during our stay as there were areas that had filler marks everywhere and a lot of dust.
Mostly awesome. Our room had obviously had a recent refurb but the lock in the outside of the balcony door was knackered and was difficult to use so security could have been better but all in all a great hotel in a great location with a publix right over the road for shopping and a microwave in the room.
Breakfast was great eggs bacon and sausage for us brits is ace 👍
Beautifully renovated home in a great location in Cocoa Beach. This was the perfect little getaway spot for our family and we were very comfortable here. Easy walk to the beach, 7-Eleven for needed items or a drive to just about anywhere in Cocoa Beach. The home is beautifully decorated, well stocked with beautiful linens, thick towels and a few beach towels on hand for the gorgeous pool out back. I loved that I could do a little cleaning and organizing or prepare a meal while my family played in the pool and be right next to them.
Location right on the beach, garden is shared with the hotel next to it, there was a wedding at the hotel and in the garden so we didn't use the garden or picnic area as we didn't want to intrude. Within walking distance of bars and restaurants, Pig and Whistle had really good food. Room was dated and the furniture rustic, however bedding was clean and fresh and bed comfortable, toiletries and towels clean, no hairdryer or iron. We stayed one night pre cruise and it was a good location for us.
Very close access to the beach, the lazy river was fun, rooms were nice. We went down for a cruise, stayed 2 days before it and 3 days after and made y memories. Ron Jon Surf Shop is right by here, Port Canaveral is 10 minutes away. The breakfast was good, with a lot of selection. The hotel had beach wagons, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, surf boards, and beach bikes you could check out for free.
Lovely location a bit away from Cocoa Beach with the river at the back. We spent some of our time watching pelicans and even spotted a beautiful Osprey. The bungalow rooms we rented were spacious, clean and very comfortable. There is a fantastic roof top deck complete with chairs and tables. We were very happy to find a well equipped laundry room as we had quite a bit of washing to do.
Arriving to Beach Place after 2 weeks of regular hotels was a true delight -- direcly on the beach, zen.yoga like atmosphere, hamocks and gazebo scattered in a quiet tree-covered gardens -- paradise. No tall buildings nor boom boom music, just simple, quiet, natural, cozy on a beautiful beach. And with all the convenience you need -- beach toys, BBQ tools, beach shower, etc. perfect
We only stayed overnight, but the facilities looked good. Rooms were clean and good variety at breakfast. We were a little disappointed that the bar food was already closed by time we arrived but the server at the bar did recommend a lovely italian restaurant about 10 mins walk. Close to Cocoa Beach and pier.
We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach, mineral pool, and breakfast. The view from our hotel was great. We could see the beautiful palm trees, pool, & ocean during the day. The drive was definitely worth it from Ohio after our flights got canceled at the last minute.
Room was clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Nice showers.
Grounds & pool were nice. Covered parking was convenient, no hot car to get into. Short walk to beach and Cocoa Beach Pier. We ate sushi at the Pier62, it was good. Will visit this hotel again. We recommend!
We enjoyed the location of our hotel, beach, and location of restaurants. The food was great at the restaurant, and staff were friendly. We were able to travel to different events within a few minutes, and we were able to relax for the week.
This motel is the home of the original 7 astronauts. Very cool coincidence after spending a day at the Kennedy Space Center. Great location within Cocoa Beach, however walkability in the area is limited. Ample car parking available.
They don't have breakfast. Location is very good if you bring with you everythig for at least the breakfast. If you are a foreign tourist..it is uncomfortable to go till cocoa Beach to have a coffee and something to eat.
It was an easy, direct walk to the beach, only 2 blocks away. Very convenient. Great size room for our larger family. We only needed 1 hotel room which was Cheaper than getting 2 smaller ones.
The hotel was right next to the beach and pier. Really great location. There were also a couple of bars in the premises besides the one on the pier. The service was excellent.
