Location was good, right off the interstate next to a waffle house. Priced well. The lady at the front desk was great. The rooms were clean. Free breakfast is at 7, but I can't say anything about quality as I left before then. Overall good stay, well worth the price.

Comfort Suites, hotel in Elizabethtown

Just a 20-minutre drive away from Fort Knox, this all-suites hotel is located in Elizabethtown and features an indoor heated pool, complimentary hot breakfast and free WiFi.

This is our second year staying here on our way to TN. Updates have been made to the rooms since last year, and made our stay even more comfortable. The hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to Ruby Tuesday, Texas Roadhouse, and several other restaurants. Nearby are many shopping centers and national chain stores, along with some local shops that we enjoyed. We highly recommend staying at Comfort Suites and Elizebethtown KY and will be back next year on our way south.

This hotel was super clean and the staff so friendly its puts all other places to shame. The vent fans in the bathroom actually worked, and for being a hotel where pets are welcome it was amazingly clean and smelled great. The common areas were tiled so cleaning was easy for the staff. Some rooms have jetted tubs so ask for a room with one. The breakfast was great with eggs, sausage , biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt and fruits. Will stay here every time in the area.

Loved the original downtown square: JR Neighbors for dining, The Vibe Coffee Shop for Breakfast & FlyWheel Brewery which was just a few blocks off the square. But Back Home Restaurant ( on Dixie at Miles) has wonderful KY favorites in E’Town. On the 2cd floor above it is a very nice women's boutique. Freeman’s Lake & surrounding trail system is quite an asset.

For us, our time in Elizabethtown was strictly an overnight stop: get there for a nights' rest, get up in the morning and resume travel to our ultimate destination. This hotel served that purpose perfectly.

I grew up in Elizabethtown and always enjoy coming home.

I grew up in Elizabethtown and always enjoy coming home. Each time the city has had tremendous growth and is quite busy. It is not difficult to get around there. There are many name brand restaurants as well as privately owned bistros and cafes. A speakeasy will be opening soon downtown in the heart of the city. The old courthouse is in the middle of town and you circle around it with exits off all four sides. A cannonball from the Civil War is embedded in the brick wall of one of the buildings on the square. There is so much history in the area all around E'Town. Visit Jim Beam for a great tour of how their whiskey is made. Short drive to historic Bardstown. We spent most of our time with family who live there this trip. Only a 2 hour drive to Nashville down 65.

The location is very convenient to I-65, and there are several restaurants close-by. There aren't any retail shops right there, but pretty much anything you can ask for is just a few minutes away.

Very friendly reception. Lovely decor in the lobby. Beds super comfy but would be a bit too high if you are on the shorter side : ) Breakfast bar was the standard hotel food - good, plentiful. Pool area very nice, especially if you had young children with you. The hotel advertised it as a heated pool but it wasn't heated when we were there but swam anyway. Walking distance to restaurants and hotel also provides 10% discount at several of the local ones.

This hotel had a big bathroom, nice shower, nice room, and very good breakfast. The staff took pride in their work, and the front desk and food server deserved kudos. It is right besides a Cracker Barrel, and the pool provided a nice ambiance for families, plus it had a nice fitness facility, all at a reasonable cost.

As soon as you enter the hotel, you can smell weed everywhere. The room keys were not working so every time we had to get into the room we have to call someone from FD to let us in. The beds and pillows were the most uncomfortable that I have ever slept on.
