The Wine and Harvest Festival was limited to 2 wineries, St. Julian’s and Warner’s. St. Julian’s was the most affordable. The festival also included a huge craft show and antique car show on Saturday. Paw Paw had a lot of restaurants and pubs. The restaurant we enjoyed the most was La Cantina Italian restaurant , which was open from 5:00-8:00.

Food, fuel and shopping were all close and convenient.
Food, fuel and shopping were all close and convenient.
Staffing in some retail places was sparse, but under current marketing conditions that is expected everywhere, even at home.
Roads could use a surface upgrade. Some spots were really rough.
No road rage seen, and most folks very friendly. Several folks were curious about where we were from and why we were visiting Paw Paw of all places. Easy conversations were struck more than once.
Nice place to visit.

The village of Paw Paw is famous for two things - blueberry...
The village of Paw Paw is famous for two things - blueberry farms and vineyards. It isn't really a "touristy" spot, per se, although you can take a tour of the St. Julian winery which is located just south of the main east-west street (Kalamazoo Street) on M-40. There are tasting rooms for both St. Julian and Warner wineries that are within walking distance of one another, and Warner's has it's own little cafe as well. It's best to visit during August - that's when the main blueberry harvest is going on, and several of the farms are both U-Pick and also sell pre-harvested bulk packages (5 lbs) of blueberries.
Paw Paw also has three lakes that are good for boating and fishing.

Walt and Maries country store and cafe has the best food...
Walt and Maries country store and cafe has the best food I've ever eaten. Being from Chicago, I know good food and they exceeded our expectations leaps and bounds. It's on Red Arrow Highway. Exit 56 off of I-94. You'll be glad you tried them.

Our stay in Paw Paw was short but we found lots of places for eating, shopping and relaxing. It is a short drive to the lakeside communities so would make a perfect spot to be able to visit those places without spending a fortune for lodging.
I stayed there because my 2nd Granddaughter got married. It was a very very beautiful wedding and I especially loved that Mattress a king size bed was absolutely absolutely perfect. And everyone was awesome friendly and helpful. I have a bad back and limited activity. So Thank God for your elevator system. Of course I would recommend your Hotel to anyone. Thanks For helping me.
Clean, parking lot well lit. Basically no frills hotel but everything was solidly "good". For a quick night's stay,, it was perfect. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good too (waffle, oatmeal, eggs/sausage, etc.) don't expect over the top gourmet but as a stop on a road trip it is perfect, easy on/off highway and felt safe .
This hotel is under new management and is exceptional.
Rooms are clean, spacious and have everything you need for a great night’s sleep.
Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. Told me about the vineyard down the road as well!
Place was extremely clean king size bed was big and so comfortable upgrades to this little hotel were well done! Quiet and overall a good place to rest. Would recommend to anyone and prices are fair. Would stay there again!
Not much variety in the breakfast, but it was fine. The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. A nice property and we'd stay there again.
