A bright and clean hotel with clean rooms.
A good breakfast served, and unlike in guest houses in other stays in Uzbekistan, the hotel has proper strong filtered coffee. It seems Uzbekistan is not a country for coffee lovers!
There are several restaurants very, very close including a cafe that serves vegetarian and possibly vegan food (something not often found in Uzbekistan, but being the capital you're a little more lucky).
There is a self-serve restaurant under a minutes walk called Sayyor, it serves many different dishes and you take what you like and pay for it before eating it.
But a heads up, the food descriptions are all in Cyrillic, and the staff can be a little incompetent, however, the idea of picking what you want without much waiting for the waiters etc is appealing, and the food is very good!
