Our host Reiko was there and even helped us with our luggage. Place has amenities like wifi, tv, kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials, microwave, oven, stove, we appreciated most the washing machine. Also has great heating. The location might be a turn off for some since it's not centrally located but Faroe being small, it was a great base for our day trips. Being minutes from the airport was great on departure! We highly recommend!

Location was excellent although there was quite a lot of traffic for a quiet town passing the window possibly because of proximity to port. We picked here because of short distance to Mykinnes. House was old but quaint and very comfortable.

We got off the plane at Vagar Airport and drove straight to The View which is just a few minutes from the airport. Check in and check out was super easy and we received plenty of information about the stay from Anita and Trondur prior to our arrival. We spent 2 nights and the view from the property was amazing at every time of the day. We really enjoyed having meals at the dining table with the views right out the floor to ceiling window. Great location to start in Faroe Islands before heading past the first subsea tunnel to the other islands.
