Quiet location with sheep nearby. Easy access to the National Gallery, then the harbor. Vert (hospitality) made sure that we were comfortable and that everything in the cabin worked properly--excellent communication.

The house felt like an actual home, not just some Airbnb setup. It was evident in the amount of things in it. Candlesticks, spectacles, egg cup holders, walking stick, knitted items at the doorway... This was a house that was loved and lived in. And it was charming, and historical, and in a very good location. Restaurants are all a short walk away. Everything was provided for. Linens, washing machine, wall mounted heating, shampoo, shower gel, kitchen towel, olive oil, boardgames, private parking space; literally everything you need, it's there. You get four single beds in two rooms, a large living room and a small kitchen. Keys to the basement (for washing machine) are hung in the cupboard with the glasses and cups. Really liked the stay. Remember to bring enough cash along for payment though! We confused it with another number 18 (also an Airbnb probably) on the opposite side of the road. It wasn't the homeowner's fault though! She was very responsive when we called for help!

If you hire a car then the petrol stations are close by too. If you need to know anything the hosts where more than happy to help.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the music from the breakfast area was lovely. The cleaning lady always made sure that I had my favorite tea in the room. At the check-in, from the reception you get discount vouchers to the restaurants which were of a great value. Also, the sauna was always prepared in due time, and the staff members were very nice.

It is a cozy place to stay between activities on the Faroe Islands. We could park our car right in front of our house, which we've used to explore the islands. The owners were quick to answer if we had questions beforehand, during, or after our stay. We took the ferry from Denmark and could "check in" early and leave late as the ferry arrived in the morning and left in the evening.

Comfortable living area and kitchen. Bed room very small and bed fits tight between 2 walls but comfortable. It is quiet and away from other houses and feels like it's in a field with a small stream running past. However, there was bridge and roadworks under construction nearby that detracted from its ambience . You definitely need a car to stay here
