The property is rather a long walk from Sale town centre in the pleasant residential neighbourhood of Ashton-on-Mersey. I came from Manchester Piccadilly Station by taxi at a cost of almost £20. Later I found out that there was a good bus route, the 263, which I used on my return trip. For my purposes, the accommodation offered was perfect. Quiet, comfortable, with a pleasant view on to the garden. Everything I needed was provided and the hosts were friendly and helpful, yet discreet.

The room was cosy, comfy and relaxing. The restaurant and bar are lovely places to spend time in. I used the gym which is well equipped with 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, free weights and some weights machines. Really good and I would stay there again.

The premium room was spacious, immaculately clean and well stocked with coffee and tea. The hotel went to the trouble of making sure we had a double bed too.
