My stay at Driftwood cottage was excellent, great location and the old town of harwich was so historic. Lot's of lovely old pubs that all offer great food. The cottage was so cosy and we had the best sleep, would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Some nice touches in the room like a Nespresso machine, biscuits and (a simple thing which is always appreciated but not often included) bottles of water. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Delicious veggie breakfast included made this a very good value stay. Atmospheric old pub in a good location near the pier and cinema. Excellent free wifi. Tasty pub grub. Good vibes all round!

I had the Kingsford's Cabin and it was really exceptional and cosy. Everything was spotlessly clean. Cozy cottage with lots of character. Quiet location down no through road. No parking but long-stay carpark within 2mins walk, £3 for 24hrs. Secure back yard for bicycle storage. There's plenty of warning in the cottage description but be further warned, the stairs up to top floor are more like a ladder with carpeted rungs! All part of the fun! You can find fossilised sharks teeth on the beach.DavidYoung couple
