Highly recommend. Lovely cottage, private and quiet, with comfortable bed and pillows, slept great. All linens (bedding and over sized bath towels) high quality. Lovely shower with great water pressure and hot water. Multiple DIY breakfast options in the kitchen, along with extra touches (thoughtful goodies). Unobtrusive yet quickly responsive friendly hosts who went above and beyond. Easy access to my local workshop. Definitely will be back.

Crooked Well is a cute little cottage in a sleepy village. Ann was so warm & welcoming. The cottage is literally home from home, EVERYTHING is provided. Cleanliness is impeccable. The photos don't do this property justice!! Book to stay here, I promise you will not be disappointed! The beds are so comfortable. The property accommodated 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 preteen very easy. We can't wait to return!

We wanted a tranquil break and - made even better by the good weather - that's exactly what we got. The house is well-equipped and comfortable with good facilities in the kitchen. There are games, DVDs and jigsaws in case you are not so lucky with the weather.

If peace and quiet is what you're after, the location of Cider Press Cottage delivers! Lucy (the host) was lovely and brought us a delicious lemon drizzle cake to welcome us; as well as brightening our rooms with some flowers fresh from the garden.
