It all starts with the outstandingly kind owners: they designed and furnished the two storeyed maisonette (patio, living-room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs; comfortable bedroom upstairs). Every single detail is lovingly studied. We were welcomed by drinks in the fridge and cookies. Since a car is needed to reach the many beaches near Karystos, at Oasis Rooms we were out of the noise, traffic-jams and parking trouble of the harbour area. The WIFI is excellent. The lawn could win a prize in Britain. Last but not least, the patient wait for our wake-up by the family dog Oskar started our day with a smile.

Arguably THE BEST accommodation we reserved via Booking.com!!! Anywhere... Ever! If we could give rating 15 than it would be 15!!! Awesome by all standards. Beautiful houses in quite part of the Karystos in the equally beautiful garden full of olive trees and other Mediterranean plants and trees. Stunning terraces in ground floor and on the first floor with fantastic sea view. Fully equipped with everything you needed even for a longer stay. Vangelis, our host is really true standard of genuine Greek hospitality! Friendly, full of useful information about the city and its surroundings as well as variety of other topics. But what we like the most is the whole design of the houses, serenity and tranquility of the place itself, lovely details and overall architecture. Truly recommended - and I am really sure we will be back in some near future!

Comfortable modern flat with lovely interior decoration, A colourful living room with a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom, a large terrace with a wonderful view over the sea where you can enjoy a different sunset every evening and observe the stars at night. Everything was spotlessly clean. The area is an oasis of tranquillity. The closest beach, Kavos, which is a fine sandy beach with crystal clear waters, shades, sunbeds and a bar, is 3 minutes by car. And the town of Karystos is another 10 minutes further up the road. For me personally, the main asset of the house were the hosts, who are unbelievably hospitable, friendly and positive.

A hidden gem! If you want a real Greek experience, look no further. Facilities, breakfast and hosts were beyond reproach. The estate produces good wines, and has an interesting archeological history. Short drive (5 minutes) to downtown, grocery markets and restaurants. Best part is the calm, relaxed vibe in the area - we hiked the mountains, visited numerous secluded beaches (always finding a beach to ourselves). Never needed a reservation for dinner, even though it was high season. Hosts went out of their way to share the best of Karystos and the surrounding area - with maps to hidden beaches, hikes, local dining recommendations, and even facilitating delivery of lost luggage and ferry timetables. Definitely avoid the tourist hustle and bustle of Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and the likes - if you want to really experience Greece, this is the spot! We will definitely return…many thanks to Alkmini, Nikos, Maria and the entire Montofoli staff for one of the best vacations we’ve had!
