The property was absolutely beautiful, and it is in an amazing location. Gemma thought of everything and more. All essentials were provide - from dishes to tea - and she was very responsive leading up to our vacation. It was a treat to wake up and go upstairs to the family room and see the beautiful ocean and countryside. The beach access is right across the street, and each morning, we walked around the village and on the beach. There are incredible historic sites in the area, and Gemma suggested several sites within just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage in the information book. The pub within just a few yards of the cottage was an added bonus and the locals were very friendly and welcoming. We hope to return again soon.

House is amazing. Everything you need and more. Location is stunning literally right on the lake. House was absolutely spotless. Owners of house were great communicators and even posted back two hoodies we'd left behind. Dungloe is a great spot too and about 15 to 20 mins walk. Aldi, Lidl and SuperValu just up the road from the house.

Yvonne & Michael are lovely hosts. Very kind and welcoming 😀 They've done a wonderful job restoring the cottage with super insulation, solar panels and a heat pump! It's located in the middle of a gorgeous mature garden with useful out buildings. And the views of the bog are spectacular. The sea isn't nearby but you can drive or walk to it. The cottage is very confortable and well laid-out. Great WiFi, x3 Google nests, no TV but you can bring a smart TV or Chromecast to stream smoothly. Beautiful scenery all around with great scenic walks (bog, countryside, seaside, hill). The family loved the experience of living in an authentic thatched cottage for a week! Located on a quiet road but under one minutes walk to the main street and in the opposite direction to the waters edge. Lovely homely feel to property, Susan and Michael were so welcoming and helpful, and left the makings of a lovely breakfast in the fridge which was a very nice touch and much appreciated. Fabulous property in a lovely area of the world, with fabulous scenery and beaches not far away. Will be back.
