House is amazing. When you see it from the outside, it doesn't do it justice. The house is absolutely gorgeous! So nice inside-great setup, kitchen, appliances, thought into design (plenty of hooks to hang things, etc). Everything looks new. Nice artwork, great architectural design, high ceilings and windows. Down a quiet road. Directions were good. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs.

Very affordable for Icelandic standards, with a great location and a large explorable property. You can see how farm life integrates with running a hotel and there are a lot of nice tidbits about cheese making or other infos on food production. Clear and extremely fresh water from the mountainside. Very good breakfast, with a large selection and even pancakes (which is not very common in Europe). View of the cattle from the breakfast room.

    La situació es fantàstica, la casa molt còmode i tens el necessari per passar uns dies. A prop de llocs per visitar sense fer masses kilòmetres. Bon lloc per veure Aurores si el temps ho permet, nosaltres varem veure... dues nits de tres.

    Antiga escola rehabilitada en casa d’hostes amb un gust genial! Les habitacions comfortables i llit còmode. Molts racons especials en zones comunes on passar una estona agradable. A destacar el restaurant, on vam poder sopar una sopa del dia excel•lent i xai amb salsa de formatge blau, tot fent una cervesa amb bones vistes del llac. L’esmorzar super complert, amb molta varietat i a un preu molt adequat pel que és el país. Tornariem sense dubtar-ho
