The apartment was central but very quiet. The bed comfy, the place was very spacious (there were 2 of us), and absolutely spotless. The test of a place is would you stay there again and look forward to it. We definitely would. The staff (more like friends) were nice and helpful. We had a minor issue getting in (more our incompetence) but whoever I spoke to on the phone was helpful, and Francesca who quickly arrived, very considerate and helpful. There was a private lift to get cases into our apartment. A personal key enables it to go to the apartment. Note though, for anyone with mobility issues; getting in the front door still leaves you with stairs before you get to the lift. We can't speak too highly of the location. Perfect for the ferry, taxi and surrounding area.

Very accommodating hosts, very large suite, with modern furnishings, in an old farmhouse on Sara’s familial property. Our suite has a small kitchen with stove top, sink and fridge. The property is well maintained, and we enjoyed talking to the owners about their garden, growing techniques, etc. He walked us down the path to the lake front, being concerned that we wouldn’t find our way. It is a 10 minute walk down to beautiful lake Garda, with a very nice public beach right there. From the beach you can take an excellent walk around to Salo, an exceptionally beautiful little town. We had a delicious dinner prepared and served by Sara in the garden, on a beautiful summer night.

The property is very nice, comfortable and welcoming. We did not miss anything! The host, Paola, is lovely - she even prepared italian breakfast for us :) Since we were in Italia in the hottest week of the summer, we were glad for ventilator and AC. It is very private, my dog enjoyed the garden so much, he did not want to go home.

Had everything for a great week. Outside bbq/kitchen area was well used and if you love cooking then there was all the equipment you needed for great meals. Fantastic view of the lake. Also the 204 bus runs every 30 mins from the bottom of the road 5 mins from the villa into Salo and the Aldi was great and only 10 mins walk so we did not need a car.

The actual lodge (totally new build) is 200m away from the farm. And the restaurant (breakfast and diner) lies 5 minute walk from the lodge. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful pool and really nice food. No mass tourism. Just eco friendly. Do it!

The balcony is cosy, you can spend there romantic moments with your sweetheart and have glass of wine in privacy. 2 lavatories is 👍👍👍 The owner was all the time ready to ask when we called her❤ The garage is a huge benefit if you like to hire a car (at least Fiat 500 suits).
