The renovations were lovingly designed and executed to simultaneously preserve and showcase the antiquity, while offering modern convenience and comfort. The grounds are a wonder of trees and flowers which offer many cozy places to sit and picnic or just enjoy vistas of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The surrounding dirt roads are deserted and perfect for walking. I believe you can connect to trails which go on indefinitely. Andrea is the sweetest, kindest, host you could imagine. He clearly loves meeting people and enthusiastically explains the history of the farm, Siena, and gives excellent guidance for how to get the most of your time in the area including how to avoid crowded places. The breakfast was a wonderful and generous array of more than a half dozen homemade pastries, each more unique and delightful than the last, as well as an ample supply of fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, cereals, pizzas, and great coffee however you like it. In short, it is everything you could possibly want The location is great for access to Siena in 20 minutes, and easy access to points east, west, and south.

Elissa and her father were very welcoming. Elissa gave us some good ideas for places to visit and pointed us to a shuttle bus into Sienna ( 15 minutes away.) The apartment was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, large lounge and bedroom, tastefully furnished. The setting in the countryside amongst the family’s beautiful homes was quiet, stunning and beautifully kept with a private outside eating area and attractive plants. We loved the swimming pool with its views of Sienna in the distance and the gorgeous local countryside. Elissa had clearly gone to some trouble to find the kind of pillow which I had requested which gave me a very comfortable night’s sleep.

Perfect location near Sienna for us to explore the Tuscan hills. The apartment was fully furnished, so clean and very quaint. The views were amazing, the grounds open for us to explore. I can’t think of how this stay could have been improved on. The host left us biscottes, jams, coffee, tea, milk and juice as our breakfast. We cooked for ourselves with supplies we picked up from the local supermarket.

Everything about the place was perfect. If you want to try agristurismo, you must go here. Sabrina was so thoughtful and kind. There is nothing to complain about, location, facility, and the host. They have all the necessary cookwares including olive oil, salt and pepper, egg, milk, water, coffee machine, cereals, bread, ham and cheese, and of course all the cutlery. So if you want to cook, this is the best place to visit!!

This podere (farm) will be different than any other experience you have on your trip. Nicest hosts, don’t hesitate to book this one. Stay here when in Siena.
