Everything about our stay at Bois Joli was perfect. The villa is lovely and private, surrounded by jungle. The hosts, Richard and Judith, are so friendly, informative, and prompt. The location on a mountainside adds a sense of adventure and a change of pace from the usual accommodations, and very well placed, especially for exploring the south of Mahé and Victoria. A rental car really is necessary, unless you want to pay a lot for taxis. The design of the grounds, the villa, and the pool are aesthetically pleasing, calming, and done by Richard himself. Merci beaucoup!

The villa has everything as described. Very comfortable, I loved the swimming pool and the garden. In the back garden I loved the terrace with the jacuzzi with Mountain View on one side, and sea view on the other side. The kind Lady Maryanne is taking care of everything you need, cleaning, washing clothes, changing bed sheets, providing fresh fruit from the garden. there is nothing we couldn’t ask. Mr. Robert Payet, the owner, must have been the kindest host I’ve ever met. Even though he is living on Praslin, he came over to meet us in person. He let us check in as early as we wanted and check out as late as we wanted without me asking for it. The refrigerator was so full that we didn’t have to go shopping at all. I mentioned we traveled with kids so he made sure there was enough ice cream and pizzas and so on in the refrigerator. I’ve never seen anything like that before. He invited us over at his luxury hotel Le Duc de Praslin for 1 day. He arranged pick up at the airport, gave us a room in his hotel ‘to change our clothes and have a shower before flying back’, we went to the hotel beach and swimming pool, had a very good lunch. As I said, the hospitality of Mr. Robert Payet is beyond any, any expectation. As a pilot, I travel a lot with my family, but I have to say that I have never met a host as friendly, helpful and hospitable as Mr. Robert Payet. This was my second time in Seychelles, and definitely not the last time, but I do know that I will not scroll through Airbnb or booking next time, I know where to go!

The view was great, plenty of parking, there’s a laundry machine, very clean and comfortable inside. This part of the island is also very nice.

What a gem! VI Lodge is tucked away on the beautiful north coast of Mahe. It is very private, with beautiful views and stylishly decorated. Gene left us fresh fruits, bread, eggs & real butter with delicious jams. Also milk, coffee and teas. Comfortable bed, good shower, especially the outside shower was a real treat. A very romantic and cosy stay. Gene & Phil was also very generous in allowing us to stay till the afternoon as our flights were in the evening. Highly recommended accommodation and super host. 10/10 score.

Csendes, nyugodt zavartalan környék. Csak néha találkoztunk emberekkel a partszakaszunkon. A feltöltött képekhez képest a pálmák már megnőttek, gondozott a kert. A konyha jól felszerelt, a személyzet kedves, segítőkész.

A ház egy hegytetőn, erdei környezetben talalható. Gyönyörű a kilátás, a medence is fantasztikus. Mar delben elfoglalhattuk a szállast. A hűtőben vizet, dobozos üdítőt, tejet kaptunk. Nagyon jól felszerelt, gyonyoru villa. A fenyképek nem adják.vissza a szépseget. Megkértük a háziakat, főztek nekünk creol vacsorát, csirkét, halat sütöttek. Nagyon segítőkész, kedves a személyzet. A tengerpartok bejárására nem talalhattunk volna jobb szállást. Mivel a repülőnk csak éjjel indult, este 7 óráig maradhattunk plusz költség nélkül. Még egyszer nagyon köszönjük.

Good people, with warm Hearts We felt Like a Part of Family. The mother brang my wife a warm soup, because of sickness. The eldest son savio give me very good advices, with people in Seychelles. They cooling my beer, without asking. The young Cat Daisy, stay the whole night in our rooms, for helping my wife, to get Well soon. The father Robert " the rabbit" brang us to Airport. He has to Stand Up very early.
