Our host, Ellie, was really accommodating and baked fresh bread, macaroons, and croissants for us. Your stay includes a roundtrip car ride and tickets to Gubei Watertown (just 5 minutes drive away). She also arranged for a driver to take us to Panlongshan for a small fee, which is a wild section of the Great Wall about 15 minutes away. I would definitely recommend the hotpot dinner, at the guesthouse, too. I appreciated the small details, like the bathbomb that was provided with the bathtub, too!

We loved our stay at Yue Tong Farm House. The couple was so kind and helpful and made our layover in Beijing worthwhile. They picked us up at the airport, made us a delicious dinner, the room was big and clean (mattress is a bit hard though), cooked us another delicious breakfast in the morning and took us to the great wall afterwards. In the end picked us up again and drove us to the airport. Everything went flawless. Although neither speak English, the translator does the job and the smiles do the rest.

This is a well run Hutong Hotel, located in a small village adjacent to the Great Wall. David is a super host, the room was totally clean and the courtyard is a very nice place to hang out.

The room was clean,the bed was soft and the owners Angel and Tony were very helpful. The breakfast was great(eggs,fruit,rice,dumplings, bread, jam, coffee was very nice) Great location and easy to get around. Angel helped us to booked all great wall tickets for us. Tony took up from homestay to the mutianyu Great Wall and picked us up from mutianyu Great wall when we finished our trip. I would like to express my warm thanks to Angel and Tony. Thank you Angel and Tony, we had a great time at Flower Yard. I highly recommend this place. If you want to visit the mutianyu great wall, this place is best place to stay. And if we will visit beijing and we will stay here again.
