The location is also great, and it is not far to the coast, towns, or the Dartmoor National Park. Only - as others have mentioned, be prepared for very narrow roads ;) I would definitely recommend staying here.

Each cottage was clean, comfortable, well equipped and welcoming. The outside area was ideal for our children, including the park and football area. The hosts couldn't be more friendly and they really make you feel welcome. The little details like the fresh flowers in the room, the welcome present, the chocolates, biscuits, tea and coffee in the room (even fresh milk!!) really make a difference and makes this place extra special. The breakfast is very good and plentiful with a lot of different things to choose from. The surroundings are beautiful and we loved the fact that there was birdfood outside of our window so we were able to enjoy watching the birds eat. Ray and Anne really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible, which we are very grateful for. We 100% recommend this place!

Brookside Cottage ligger i byn Sticklepath i utkanten av Dartmoor National Park, bara 10 minuters bilresa från Okehampton. WiFi är gratis. The owners were very hospitable and helpful, and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was great. A lovely place to break a journey..
