Cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The owners are lovely and happy to accommodate requests. Ellers Farm is what it says on the tin, a working farm so please expect that as you are literally metres away from horses and cows which I loved!😊

The location of this cottage is perfect, the facilities great and it is well worth a visit. The walled garden is fab if you are taking a pet. The hosts were welcoming.

Wow! This is, hands down, the best accomodation we have stayed in for the price. 3 double bedrooms, cosy lounge, kitchen/diner/reading space. We didn’t cook but everything one would need to prepare a meal and eat comfortably is there. There is even a freezer. Ideal location for us. A short walk to the castle, the numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants. There is a shop just around the corner and Sainsburys is a short walk away. The nature reserve is about 15 mins walk. Clitheroe is the ideal base for exploring this gorgeous part of England and Darryl’s place is the perfect place to stay. We highly recommend.
