O Ormurinn Cottages está localizado em Egilsstadir. Para sua comodidade, o WiFi gratuito está disponível em todas as áreas. Muito confortável e aconchegante, a vista era maravilhosa (para um lago e a cidade). Tudo muito limpo, especialmente toalhas e roupas de cama. A cozinha tinha muitos utensílios e um frigobar. Os chalés são bem afastados uns dos outros, então não vimos nem ouvimos nenhuma nada dos outros chalés. Foi muito fácil pegar as chaves, que estavam em um lock box bem ao lado da porta de entrada do chalé.

O Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses em Egilsstadir oferece acomodações apenas para adultos com área de praia privativa e jardim. A acomodação em que ficamos era totalmente nova. Bom tamanho, cozinha super bem equipada, banheiro com ducha muito boa. Nota-se o esmero dos proprietários em cada detalhe. Vimos a aurora nesta localização, então para nós foi excelente. Porém, fica a uns 20-30 km de Eggilstadir. Mas a estrada é muito boa e bem fácil de achar. Tem uma bonita vista para o lago.

Com vista do jardim, o Starmýri 2 Cottages em Starmýri oferece acomodações e churrasqueira. Com vista do rio, esta acomodação dispõe de varanda térrea. Cute little cabin with everything we needed. Location was perfect for us. Quiet with a nice view. Great stay!

Oferecendo vista do jardim e do rio, o Ásgeirsstaðir Holiday Homes está localizado em Ásgeirsstaðir, a 49 km de Hengifoss e a 33 km de Gufufoss. Uma casinha muito amorosa perto de Egilstadir. Gostámos muito! Estava limpa, arrumada. Tinha tudo o que era necessário, incluindo alguns mapas e actividades para o serão. Ficámos só uma noite, mas era sem dúvida uma casa que não me importaria de repetir.

Amazing location and views, private hot tub, spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. Had everything we needed even though the space was small. Easy communication with Margret. Lovely walks from the door - went berry picking, and walked down to the church and harbour all with a very friendly dog! The drive down the gravel road to get there is stunning. Even saw the Northern Lights on our first night in the hot tub.

Situado no fiorde mais oriental, Nordfjördur, este hotel-fazenda rural de gerência familiar fica a 7 km do centro da cidade de Neskaupstadur. The two hosts were fantastic, they made us feel right at home! Upon check-in, the owner gave us a tour of the entire hotel and explained the story behind their business and their family. Had some lovely talks with both of them throughout our stay and I loved all the personal touches they added to the decor of the hotel. They were extremely accommodating and even let us put a few groceries in their fridge. We made our own dinner in the shared kitchen and enjoyed it on the outside terrace while watching the sunset behind the mountains. The surroundings were peaceful and offered the most beautiful views. We even watched a wild fox come and play with their dog!! The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with all of the equipment you need. Breakfast was superb, they offered a wide variety of meats, cheese, cereal, fruit and even fresh bread baked by the owner's wife. Our room was spacious, had a separate/private entrace, large bathroom and even included an extremely comfortable couch to relax on. Their service and hospitality was our favourite part. This was the best stay in all of Iceland, and we are so happy to have met the hosts!

Situado ao longo do Fiorde Seydisfjordur, estas casas de campo ficam a menos de 3 km da cidade de Seydisfjorudur. Loved the little cabin! Sadly, we had very little time to enjoy it. We got to the cabin shortly before midnight and were out on the road by 10 am next morning. Communication from the host was great! Easy key pickup, cabin was clean and VERY well stocked. Probably the best stocked I've seen throughout the trip. Some food items were for sale, and quite up-charge, but great convenience non less. We didn't need them that night, but there were nights earlier on our trip we would greatly benefit from it and gladly paid the premium price.

If you're looking for a memorable getaway with a view that will leave you speechless, this villa is an absolute must-visit.

The property is located in beautiful and natural surroundings. one of our best stays in Iceland! to top it all the owner Asdis is a wonderful person who had great tips and was always available for help. She makes yummy chia and fruit yoghurt! The property has a hot tub in the beautiful outdoors and we had the most relaxing time enjoying it! A must go place if you plan to be in the area!
