The nearest airport is Reykjavík Domestic Airport, 96 km from Blue View Cabin 5B With private hot tub. The location was wonderful. It was so relaxing and cozy at the cabin. The hot tub was a wonderful touch after a long day and it was great to take in the views. We felt very comfortable and at home here. I would recommend this place over and over again. I loved reading the log book and seeing all the wonderful/special stays that other people had here as well.

The houses come with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Some of the houses have a private hot tub. A TV, along with a washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in all houses at Kerbyggð. Each also has a living room, dining area, as well as one or two private bathrooms with a shower and free toiletries. Well designed house, great outlay, lovely and warm with great views. They even had a high chair for our daughter. Thank you for a great few days.

The apartment has very modern style, nicely located not far but not too close one of the main roads in southeastern Iceland. The host was very nice, checking in and out was effortless. You have to bring your own food, as explained, but it was possible to get coffee and tea for free from the host. The kitchen is very well equipped, also with dishwasher. The shower is huge, there is floor heating (it was maybe too strong, but it is possible to regulate it). I would certainly go back again.
