The host, the house, the location. The house is extremely cozy and clean. Everything you need is available: small kitchen, couch, nice place to sit outside! The beds are comfy and when you’re lucky you can see the stars from there. It’s a ten minute walk to the beach where you can surf or chill. Also restaurants and a 7/11 are there. The area is great for hiking and cycling (bikes were there). Shishikui is a bit remote and quiet, but perfect for a stressless getaway if you’ve been visiting Japanse cities. From Osaka is a direct bus to Shishikui station, so it’s easy to get there. The bus ride alone is worth taking. Ryota was an excellent host, and the surf lessons were awesome!
