Room was simple but quiet, clean and comfortable. Location excellent. Breakfast was fresh and well prepared. He also helped in organising tours around Jaffna and taxi service to Colombo. If you are looking for simple yet comfortable homestay in Jaffna, Berty Cottage is a gem of a place sure to satisfy most guests.

The place is exceptionally quiet eventhough it is located in a neighbourhood. The owner, Nisha was friendly, caring, and professional. The place is new, clean and full of amenities. I would recommend Chety Villa without any reservations.

We were always at ease, from the moment we enter we were treated with renowned Sri Lankan hospitality… Vijay and Ashad were always there to accomodate our requests with a smile and never missed a chance to ask what they can do to make our stay a pleasant experience. Although we never got his name, even the security person greeted us with a smile and offered great travel advise about the area. The breakfast buffet was definitely another highlight, had a great variety of foods to suit our taste. We would love to recommend the place anyone travelling to Jaffna.
