Perfect location close to Ella and its amenities but also a welcome escape from the noise and activity that the town has. From our warm greeting upon arrival to the time we left, the staff were amazing and cannot do enough for you. VIraj has an excellent knowledge of all things Ella, the surrounding areas, and his whole country. He is happy to provide ideas of locations to visit, without pushing you to participate into organsied activites you may not want. Our room was large, the most spacious we have enjoyed in our three weeks in Sri Lanka. Included were a large and comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom (with a full bath), extra chairs to sit on and tea, coffee and water facilities. Water pressure in the bathroom was excellent and there was plenty of hot water. Excellent airconditioning. The room had a fantastic large balcony overlooking the town and is a welcome retreat during the day or when you return from a day out and want to relax. A beautiful view of the lights of Ella and surrounding hillsides at night. On top of the building is a rooftop deck, with some chairs and a table, great for a sunrise view or sunset drink, enough space for your daily yoga. While wi-fi in the room was not particulaly strong, it was very good in the dining area. Breakfast was plentiful and they did well to accommodate our specific dietary needs. However, the dinner was extra delicious, so much so, we participated in the cooking classes they offer in their small kitchen onsite. You can tailor your classes to the specific dishes you want to cook. Under head cook Buddika, his second cook Ruwan and the guidance of Lahiru, we not only had heaps of fun, but learnt many techniques for sucessful Sri Lankan cooking and how to use spices and herbs to create delicious local flavours. An additional bonus, they also only use locall products in their cooking. And the meal to finish was so good! We left reluctantly and miss the whole team at Cozy Cottage Ella. Definitely recommend it here!

It was amazing. The most delicious breakfast. Everything was close, near to the nine arch bridge trail and also to the trail to little adams peak. The host was helpful and nice.

We had such a great stay here! We were super surprised at how big the room was, especially since we paid so little! The balcony was also a lovely addition. Big big big bonus points for the king size bed - loved it. The staff were extremely kind and they offer a tuk tuk service to bring you to and from Ella city center. Also, right on top of the hotel (literally 2’ uphill walk) is the 3arch bridge - the least famous sibling to the 9 arch one. We were lucky enough to see trains passing there and it was wonderful! We can only recommend! Thanks again.

Sapu and his wife were very kind and their accommodation offers comfortable facilities with gorgeous views of valleys and hills of Ella. We adored relaxing on the balcony, while admiring the birds, jungle fowls, giant squirrels, and a very particular species of deer. The tuk tuks arranged by Sapu to the cottage were convenient and recommended. For all other short or long trips use Uber or Pick Me apps (significantly cheaper with peace of mind). Reason: Tuk tuk drivers charged us 2500 (LKR) one way to see the Nine Arch Bridge, which didn’t make sense since they charged us 700 one way every other time. We didn’t bother to discuss these costs, but strange things can happen, so be sure to use very good communication and be diligent. The small road to the cottage can only be accessed by tuk tuk or by walk. Plan carefully, use Uber or Pick Me apps, and communicate well with your driver about this. The host may not support this idea only because he’s trying to support the business of his drivers and friends. We highly recommend dinner at the Clay Pot, Matey, and the White Rabbit.

Featuring a garden and a terrace, Tea Cabins is located in Ella, a 18-minute walk from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. המיקום נמצא ממש בתוך ג׳ונגל קצת רחוק מהרעש של העיר, אבל מספיק קרוב בשביל להנות ממה שיש בה. הצוות היה מקסים, נתנו המון פרטיות, הם מגישים הכל לחדר ויש להם שירות מעולה בוואטסאפ. החדר היה ממש כמו בתמונות והאוכל שהגישו שם היה מושלם ממליצה למי שרוצה להתפנק ולהיות קצת מבודד.

Located 2.2 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 900 metres from Ella Spice Garden, Saddle Cottage features accommodation in Ella. Free WiFi is available. View of the waterfall from the room. It's very beautiful. Around the field and more than one hotel in sight. It's a great place to meditate. The sound of the waterfall can be heard for 24 hours, but it is not loud and does not interfere with sleep. Clean rooms with kettle and tea facilities. The hotel consists of 2 rooms. The second room even has a personal fridge and hairdryer. The owner and his family are wonderful people. They tried to help with any question we had in Ella. I'll definitely stay with him next time

Amazing place in Ella. In the nature but super close to the bars and restaurants. The host is very kind and the food was delicious. You can also learn typical cooking there, and it's worth it !
