It was made from thousands of pebbles, really beautiful place. The owner built it himself, he is a really kind person willing to make your stay the best possible.

River View Safari Cottage er staðsett í Udawalawe, 19 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum. Gistirýmið er með garð, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Very kind owner warm and welcoming. The river front and very quiet environment is wonderful. The dinner they made (for a good price) was delicious and the safari was fantastic! We saw many animals. Would recommend to everyone!!

Tsuru Villa státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 37 km fjarlægð frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum. Villan er með einkasundlaug, garð og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Stunning location! Properly isolated and very peaceful. The room is big and spacious with a superb view of the lake and mountains. We had an amazing time here and got to relax and unwind with the family. The caretaker also really went out of his way to look after us. We also got the chance to go to Udawalawe national park and see elephants. Overall the trip was perfect especially at that price! I wish we could have stayed for more days but we have made plans to come again for a longer stay. A hidden Jewel!

Leel's Safari Cottage er staðsett í Udawalawe, 12 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði og veitingastað. We had a lovely stay at Leel’s cottage, the place was so nice and clean, and looked even better than the photos! We had a great meal which his family made for us and we went to Safari with Leel which was amazing!! 100% definitely recommend!!! Best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka!!

There were so many choices for a place to stay for a safari but this one is the perfect one! Very calm place surrounded by nature, very clean and delicious local food! They arranged the half day safari for us with a breakfast in a private place in the park which was great! The family is the most adorable, we really felt home! We even had the opportunity to learn how to cook sri lankan with them😍 The son is the one who imagined and created the cottage which makes it even a better place. They give all their heart to it! We were sad leaving this place! Thank you for everything & we hope to come back to see you all soon!

4Seasons Holiday Home í Ratnapura býður upp á gistirými, garð og garðútsýni. Gistirýmið er með loftkælingu og er 43 km frá Avissawella-lestarstöðinni. The owner’s hospitality is wonderful, they were very helpful and we felt them as our family. The husband and wife are always prompt to act if any request made by us. Very clean and spacious to stay. The provided facilities are like staying at home. The balcony view is beautiful, the small river makes us relaxing. I really enjoyed the stay. We are looking forward to stay again. I have recommended to my friends as well if they are on a holiday to Rathnapura.

This was one of the best nature accommodation experiences that I've ever had. We were able to completely disconnect and bathe in nature for two days. I never write reviews but honestly felt compelled to do so for this property. I kind of am scared that somehow many people will find out about it and it will lose it's beautiful appeal by becoming overcrowded! But for anyone thinking about having an adventure and venturing deep into the jungle in Sri Lanka spending a night surrounded by the elements in an amazing luxury setup with absolutely wonderful staff and an exceptional cook then look no other way. Thank you for allowing us to have such an amazing experience. It had been years since we were able to slow down and do just nothing. And us spending our day idly was the best part of this stay. Reading, writing, hiking, trekking, swimming in a natural pool, listening to the rain and the river water flowing, watching fireflies, staring at the shadows of trees on the ceiling, we felt that we were children again! We'll definitely be coming back. A big thank you to Chandana and Dissanayake for their great hospitality and absolutely AMAZING food. And of course a big thank you to the owner of the property that was extremely helpful making sure we are comfortable and very well taken care of during our stay. Please keep the property the gem that it is, sustainably nestled inside the jungle co-existing with Sinharaja in such a beautiful way! Thanks for providing us with such a great opportunity to reconnect with nature.

Aji ávaxtabýlið er staðsett í Embilipitiya, 37 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og 47 km frá Tangalle-lóninu og býður upp á vatnaíþróttaaðstöðu og loftkælingu. Aji's Fruit Farm is a unique place to stay. The cottage/bungalow has two bedrooms, complete kitchen facilities, air-conditioning and a washing machine!!! The wide verandah has comfortable table and chairs for relaxing and taking in the breeze. The cottage is situated amid grassy coconut groves on an award-winning fruit farm. Just meters away is the property lake front where you can swim. At the you have a lovely cabana, hammocks and swing (with outdoor restaurant under construction). Sunrise view from the cabana should not be missed followed by a delicious breakfast. Aji is a wonderful, thoughtful host. The accommodation is about 30 minutes from Uda Walawe NP, so within easy access, and a lovely peaceful alternative. We were sorry we could only stay one night.
