At Flatheim you will find a private bathing area, a bookable wood fired hot tub, a shared garden room and BBQ facilities, lysthus og gapahuk ved elva next to the river. Animals like hens, cats and sheep can be seen on site. It was a surprising place. As a Heritage house, it mixes the old wooden houses style, with modern facilities as the bathroom. For the kids it was a really new and fun experience. The location if great, an "oasis" in the middle of the norwegian mountains. The owner was very helpful: as we got late for dinner or restaurants nearby, he explained where we could buy some goods, and let us use by our the kitchen and diningroom.
