The views over the lake and the Southern Alps are breathtaking and they can be enjoyed from almost every corner of the lodge. This single storey lodge consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom with lake views from the living and deck area. The open plan lounge features modern décor, a flat screen TV, high speed internet. Double glazed doors open up from the living room to a sheltered outdoor deck where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the view during the day and star gazing at night. The high spec kitchen is equipped with quality appliances, crockery, cutlery and cookware. Washer dryer, dishwasher included. The two bedrooms feature queen sized bed with external bathroom. Ideal for couples or a family with children. All beds are almost new and excellent quality and each bedroom has its own heater. Clean sheets and towels. They have a mini petting zoo and star gazing tour near the lodge as well. Recommending to everyone to stay at least two nights

These are just two independently owned chalets next door to the owners house. There is a real home from home feel about them, and they are incredibly equipped with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. We were met after our arrival by the owner ( I am so sorry, your name escapes me. Apologies) who gave us the run down on the chalet and some invaluable information about Mount Cook, where to park for the Hooker trail, and some very sound advice to get there early! It was great to return to the accommodation after a long day walking and to sit on the veranda with a cup of tea (or maybe a glass of wine!) And enjoy the peace and quiet. I'm also grateful for laundry facilities, which was a real bonus. Do not hesitate to book these chalets. You will not be disappointed.
