Such a great experience. The rooms with the view directly on the lake are exceptional, so is the host family. We had such a great time. Manuel and his girlfriend helped us to get to the island and I never met a more friendly family. They helped us with the altitude sickness by providing coca tea at our arrival and showed us the neighbor islands on a personal boat trip. The breakfast was amazing and prepared with a lot of heart. At night it can get pretty cold, but the shower is hot. Would totally recommend for people who want to experience the life of the Uros.

Everyone is super kind and we had the luck of being there while the family cooked for other community members and hosted a session of Easter chants, to which we have been allowed to take part. Ronald was great, he picked me up from the port in his boat (for a fee I was happy to pay) and took me to his island, he and his wife had everything I needed for an island experience, they made me dinner, let me take the kayak out and event watched while I went for a quick dip in the chilly lake. It is a very comfortable place to stay but don't expect five star accommodations it is more like a really nice glamping setup which is what you should be looking for on a floating island!

This hotel is authentic, our triple room had flair and was overlooking the yard. The couple taking care of us was very warm and accommodating, especially with the meals, as it was one vegetarian person in the family. We stood 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The food was every day different and plenty. The price for the meals is different, it depends if it is vegetarian, it contains cheese, or fish or meat. Lake Titicaca is a flight of stairs away an there is a nice beach and clear water to take a dip (water temperature 10-12 degree). There are nice walks on the hills nearby to viewpoints and small ruins.

With lake views, Quechua lodge Titicaca is set in Puno and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and sun terrace. absolutely loved staying overnight and getting to know Jenny our host and practising my terrible language skills. beautiful place, good food, helped get us to Amantani island too
