Featuring mountain views, Casa vivencial Mamá Vivi features accommodation with patio, around 7.4 km from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. This country house provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I loved my experience at Mama vivis. They take good care of you when you stay there and help to organize excursions. Loved the hot pools and the authentic rural experience. There's no wifi, but I got very good mobile data reception with claro. They cook you very good (to large for me) meals for an additional but reasonable charge.

Stunning location and beautiful room design, cute lamas, that you are allowed to feed, good breakfast, and good (European priced, but worth it) restaurant itself (we had lunch), real fireplace in casita, hot bath outside with a beautiful view; Oxygen mask is offered at lobby, if you have altitude sickness. People, who work here, are doing their best!
This really enjoyed our stay here and would totally recommend. The had warm showers and really comfy beds with extra blankets. The also got a hairdryer if you ask them. The breakfast was amazing and they even got a pizza oven, where they serve fresh pizza for dinner. Really cosy atmosphere and the owner and his wife are really helpful for planning your hikes for the canyon.
We arrived and the place hadn’t electricity, it can happen but just another add on to the bad experience. The house was floated when we showered. They don’t accept card payment and this isn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process or the information about the lodge. This place might have been incredible 10 years ago when it was new but no efforts have been made to keep it alive in decent conditions. To make it even worse, we got food poisoning.
Basic but very beautyfull eco lodge within the valley. Room was very clean. It was amazing to relax in the garden after our hike. The hotsprings were not available due to the heavy rains but that is incididental and the force of nature. Diner and breakfast are really dellicious and the owner very friendly and helpfull. We had a fantastic overnight!
We hiked here for 6h and were so happy to arrive. The cabins and general state of the hostel is much nicer than on the pictures. Its really cute, charming and relaxing. Food was very good.
The lodge is so beautifully peaceful and the staff are lovely. Our room had fabulous views over the valley and the food is very good. Jose recommended a fantastic circular walk from the property which is highly recommended
When you arrive after a nice hiking day in the canyon Paraiso Lodge is a very good option 😊 you’ll have a pool nice drinks and tasty dinner in the evening (price is ok, but not really cheap). Since you don’t have many options, it’s fine
Great location with (very clean) hot springs at the river to relax in after hiking the Colca Canyon. The lodge is run by a family and the staff is very helpful. The cabins are basic but sufficient. We would recommend to stay here if you're hiking the Colca Canyon!
Amazing location and hotsprings. Cabins were simple but cozy. Ours did have electricity. Showers were better than expected (we had warm water).
If you’re looking for a place to relax after a long day of hiking, Llahuar Lodge is for you. The thermal pools are located right next to the river so that you can easily switch between cold and hot water. Most importantly, you’ll meet the most welcoming hosts you could possibly think of. The food we had for lunch and dinner was great and the little bungalows are super cozy.
