Well what can you say this place is amazingly high spec. Whether you are staying with friends or family or as a couple it’s really really nice amazing even. We used the self-catering facilities in the mornings and sometimes had a meal in the evenings at local restaurants, I recommend the soups anywhere in Poland! The host had lots of time for us give us some good directions to Local National Park walks. We did some good hiking saw Black Woodpeckers Grey-Headed Woodpeckers and Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Hawfinch and Marsh Tit, they’re all out there! Local people had a lot of time for us as well. If I ever come back to the town, I would definitely stay at this accommodation.

We were allowed to use small kitchen with refrigerator, kettle and something. There was some tea and coffe. The breakfast was super tasty and too much to eat. We made some sandwiches. They served two kind of pancakes which were amaising and morning coffe.

Great hospitality!! I was invited to join the dinner. After dinner there was a family party and the guests were invited to join the party. We celebrated and danced together and I felt like part of the family. Dinner and breakfast were excellent!

Ciche Podlasie is a homely family run boarding house with excellent facilities and locally sourced food served at breakfast by the family. While I was a solo traveller, the property does cater for larger groups, and is well signposted within the national park from Siemianowka village, with off road parking. I enjoyed the almost total silence - except for the bison in the wildlife reserve calling nearby, but not visible till you went out an found them - no simple task - best viewed from a distance with an expert guide for the benefit of all. August and early September a good time to visit in the breeding season, This is my second visit to the area and I would definitely base myself at Cisle Podlasie again.
