Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. The owners could not have been kinder. The lady had my heart as you can tell she loves her property and her garden. This property was like a hidden oasis. It was perfect in every way with an exceptional shower and lots of hot water! We would love to visit again sometime!

La Quinta De La Rosa és un allotjament de propietat familiar situat en una finca vinícola, a la riba dreta del riu Duero, a 2 km de Pinhão. Our visit to Quinta de la Rosa was simply wonderful and far exceeded expectations. Our room was beautiful with stunning views and dinner in the restaurant (on both nights) was outstanding. We had an excellent wine tour/tasting and did some fabulous hikes including right to the top of the estate. Couldn't recommend a visit here more highly.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, pastries and fruit. We were also sent away with extra slices of cake and fruit for our journey! We also had dinner there and nothing was too much. The food was excellent but was clearly prepared just for us and made it even more special with all the beams and vineyard features such as barrels in the reception and dining room. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfy and bathroom with a bath was excellent. The room was very large and had lots of features to make us feel like we were in the vineyard. The best bit was when we arrived and we were greeted by the family with glasses of port from their vineyard for free before sitting by a toasty fire to warm up - perfect welcome!!

Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 37 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. The setting was simply perfect, offering stunning views of the Duoro valley. The house itself was beautiful, and we received a lovely welcome with their homemade Porto wine. Our room was exceptional, offering great comfort, and the breakfast was equally delightful. Unfortunately, the cold weather kept us from using the pool, but we're excited to return and spend more time there. Honestly, I felt no desire to venture elsewhere, as everything about the place was just wonderful.

Moinhos do Paiva is set in Castelo de Paiva and features a private pool and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Spectacular place with a lake view. The place is perfect to disconnect and be surrounded by nature. Ana from the staff was amazing, very thoughtful and open to help. For sure will be a place to come back again.

Boasting garden views, Quinta de Travassinhos- Douro Valley offers accommodation with a rooftop pool, an indoor pool and an open-air bath, around 6.5 km from Douro Museum. My friends and I loved the property, the people, and the meals. It is so charming—I love the care and thought that was put into this place. We had our dinners here and our last dinner was this delicious stew. Helena, Ricardo, and Joao helped to make our stay so wonderful.

Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa and only 18 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, Eira da Fraga offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The space was very clean and the location in the middle of nowhere but close from the city was perfect

Located within 44 km of Douro Museum and 45 km of Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, QUINTA ALTO DO RIO provides rooms in Cinfães. Splendid breakfast, great choice including perfect scrambled eggs and bacon each morning! Excellent dinner and perfect accompanying wine choice. The room was perfect and with a great view overlooking the confluence of the two rivers. Spacious and with a separate lounge if required. The staff , Juan , the chef, and the owners could not be more hospitable and made us feel like 'one of the family' . Excellent quiet position with aasy access to paths to walk the dog and a short drive to the railway station.

Situated within 32 km of Mirandela Medieval Bridge in Alfândega da Fé, Casas da Serra - Soeima Housing features accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain views. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.
