It has an amazing outdoor area with a Braai which we enjoyed using. It’s a great base location to visit Addo Elephant park which is an hour away. The lodge is secluded and you feel totally immersed in the beautiful surroundings, we walked in the mornings, saw lots of animals especially at night on the way back to the lodge. Safari’s are also available but we did these in Amakhala so just relaxed in the afternoons. There are a few nice restaurants in the local town if you want to eat out, if not the local spar is good. They have thought of everything and the cottage is kitted out with everything you could need. The property feels very safe and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. There is a braai to use outside as well! Really would recommend and would love to go back there in the future. Also really close proximity to the park.
