The house was well equipped, and we even got a nice thank you gift from the host because she was not around to check us in personally because we came later than the check in time. We were also allowed to check out much later than our check out time.

El Bergdale Cottages está situado a 1,7 km del santuario de Whispers de Elefante y ofrece alojamiento con terraza, zona de barbacoa y jardín. Everything was great! The property is amazing with wondering animals arround. Our cottage was very nice and clean, spacious also. The staff are very helpful! We had a problem with our luggage getting delivered late at the airport and they help with calls and receving the luggage for us when we were not at the cottages! Definetly great place to go and close drive to Phabeni gate for Kruger park!

El Rivendell Trout Estate ofrece alojamiento a 18 km de Lydenburg, a orillas del río Spekboom. We loved everything about this place! The property is absolutely beautiful! The house we stayed in was more than we expected! It had everything we needed & was beautifully decorated. There were 4 bedrooms, each bedroom had it’s own 1/2 bathroom, and two full bathrooms with one between each bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. There were 6 of us in our group & plenty of room for everyone! We had a big dining table, plenty of room to sit around in the den & outside on the deck. There was also a covered separate area not part of the deck, which was a great place to gather & grill outside. We loved listening to the river which runs through the back yard & is about 50 feet from the deck. The property is located a little ways off the main highway, which we loved. We wanted to be away from town. You will want to make sure you have your own food & drinks before driving out to the property. We all loved this place & would definitely stay here again. The only problem we had was that our stay was too short! We plan to go back when we can stay longer.
