The Gold Coast is just beautiful, relaxed & friendly. We stayed at The Iconic in Kirra Beach, which was super handy for the FISHER concert at Coolangatta - KIWI'S Love FISHER! The food at Siblings was not just good, it was outstanding! It is a culinary experience not to be missed. The love Street Cafe - the line out the door is worth the wait - the food is wholesome and delicious! We visited the Pacific Fair - well laid out, with great shops & excellent food. Burleigh Pavilion is not just a place to drink and eat, it's a vibrant hub where you can mingle while overlooking the surf-break. Kira & Kira Furniture Store in Burleigh Heads is the store to be noticed. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the stock quality is fabulous, including the one-off pieces and unique artwork. There is always something to get involved with on the Gold Coast and Surround ing area -- Walking the Beaches , Walking the bush walks - small trips to the hinterland . The location of Broadbeach.
The location of Broadbeach. Walking distance to conveniences and public transportation was important because I'm not driving. There is a car park and a bike rack in the lower level if needed. Any issues were met with prompt attention. The light rail was further away than I thought, but unless you wanted to go to town centers, the bus stop around the corner took me where I wanted to go, like Seaworld.

The room was very spacious, together with a small kitchenette and balcony (with a good view). Great meals and Bar staff friendly. Will definatley recomend to family and friends when travelling to Gold Coast. Will stay there again on next trip and on our way back home to NSW from Yeppoon.

It is a 1 minute walk to the terminal and 2 minute walk to the bus stop that will take you along the coast to neighbouring towns. There were multiple restaurants in the hotel but also some cheaper options within walking distance. they also give you the option to extend your stay by the hour if needed. So forgetting that for a moment, the facilities were fine to a point, a tram ride away from Surfer's Paradise and near cheap and mid range food options. The hotel/bar is very cosy and friendly. It's a slice of Australiana in an otherwise gaudy destination.
