Amazing swimming pool with several pools suitable for all ages and abilities, including an outdoor thermal bath with jacuzzis. The ice rink was up when we were there, lots of nearby cafes and pubs. Lovely riverside walks and great playpark/animal centre between Saanen and Gstaad. Many train and bus connections. Several gondolas up to mountain restaurants and views and walks.
Coop cafe is good and relatively cheap for budget conscious travellers.

Was a nice hotel in good location and proximity to most of local attractions. The only problem was, we were not offered the same room we booked and the staff claimed the information on booking is not right.

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland.
One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland. Almost all the houses are in chalet style, which gives the place a special charm. Lots of walking possibilities, also for seniors, and there are many lifts up the mountains.

Hiking and taking a lift to the top of the mountains was absolutely incredible. Very good signs made hiking between towns in the area simple and very rewarding views. Food in all towns was very very good, maybe best meal we had in the country.
the hotel is very clean and has a modern style interior, everything was up to date , location although not in gstaad but was nice and quiet, the room was looking the mountain and train station , all room amenities was great , we didn’t think that the designer forgot one thing of the guest needs to be there . it was amazing.
and regarding the staff I really think they deserve 10/10 for their welcoming attitude and smiling faces all day and night , always will to help .
room service was also very quick.
1. An obstructed view from verandas, and in the master bedroom
2. A DESIGNATED parking space in the basement parking lot(this is absoutely necessary in Winter in Gstaad, as you can see)
3. It is only five-minute drive away from Gstaad Promenade, five-star hotels.
4. A Bathtub!
5. 2 bedroom with 2.5 barhroom.
6. Fully-equipped Kitchen
7. Complemenary landromat
8. There lives a very nice couple, Chris&Joseph on the ground level. They
are really really kind and helpful.
9. NICE furniture
lovely owners. you can tell they take pride in their “home.”.
For a four star resort, they serve 5 star food— with a little treat from the chef before each meal. You must try the chocolate mousse, the goulash with crème fresh, the snitzel is amazing, pumpkin risotto, gnocchi (they brought my Italian husband seconds like he was family), French onion soup and the glugwine. Their New Years meal was top as well — their fillet of beef was tender.
I hope you enjoy this hotel as much as we did.
What a delightful hotel right in the centre of Gstaad in the pedestrian only zone. Fabulous interior decor of public spaces and bedroom/ ensuite. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent extensive breakfast. Unfortunately restaurant closed on a Wednesday so we couldn't eat dinner the hotel. Parking available on reservation. Guest card issued at check-in giving good discount including the local train which we used.
The hotel is in the best location, it’s opposite Gstaad train station and right next to the main promenade with all the bars, restaurants and shops.
Our room had an amazing view and the staff were extremely helpful and gave some excellent recommendations on where to eat, drink and ski.
The Spa was also top notch! As well as the hotel’s chalet interior design and parking.
This was our fourth stay in Ermitage,We like the hotel and the region; wellness and the pools. The staff was pleasant however we noticed that since last year there was a big change in staff. The 5 star hotel professionalism and skills as you expected in some cases were not there and occasionally the staff needed remaining or repeating the request.
l like everything in hotel. they have a car pick you up from train station of Gstaad to hotel for free with out any pay . The view was amazing in family room, the bathroom was very good, the staff was friendly and always smiling, everything was very good. And I classify this hotel as a five star hotel. Thank you for everything
The staff were all amazing, so positive, happy and helpful.
The restaurant is incredible but busy so definitely consider booking a table before you arrive.
The location is perfect the ski lift is in walking distance and the hotel is on the main road of the village with Gstaad and Sanen Moser nearby

Best location and views. Can't ask for any better place to stay in gstaad. Infront of Gstaad Station, next to early beck. Mesmerizing view from balcony and window. And next to all attractions in Gstaad.
I made a last-minute booking with late arrival at 10pm. The friendly staff noticed I was hungry and prepared food for me. Quiet location. Nice and clean room with superb view of the Gstaad mountains.
They took such good care of me. It felt very personal. It was like I developed a connection with the place and the hotel. The food, service, staff all of it was exceptional
very friendly staff, cozy Hotel with parking and a beautiful scenery. The outdoors was a dreamy as inside the hotel. Very well set style for the chalet environment it is in.
Best features: clean and modern inside, comfortable. Fantastic breakfast buffet. A block from the bus stop. Convenient to downtown Gstaad and the Tissot Walk Glacier 3000.
