Very good breakfast. There is no lift but the staff helped with luggage (and refused a tip). The hotel is modern and pleasantly decorated. Secure car parking was provided.

Not much, the building is quite large and has a good position, my room was large and comfortable but nothing special.
Also nobody came to re-do my room and clean, I was there two nights and I was expecting at least someone to clean the bathroom, or open the window for fresh air. I don't have to ask for this basic room-cleaning service... (I don't usually ask for this service in 3 stars hotel when I travel for work!)

Lovely historic town, super Xmas markets - better than Prague. Loads of great bars and several superb microbreweries as well as the world famous Budvar brewery which is well worth a tour.
Great parks and loads of easy walking around the town make it a pleasure to visit.
Good transport links and nearby Cesky Krumlov is a must see.

For a Czech city it was surprisingly uninspiring, the old town is beautiful and it's easy to get around. There is no castle or other major attraction. There's a brewery which proved to be very interesting.

Besides having a beautiful city centre and plenty of good cafes and restaurants and shops, the city is convenient as a hub from which to visit nearby towns in South Bohemia such as Ceske Krumlov, and to link with hiking and bicycle trails.
The Regional Museum is also well worth spending a few hours in.
One thing that online Maps fail to advise, is that Ceske Budejovice has a comprehensive bus network, that is inexpensive.
Overall the people seem happy and friendly to tourists.

Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river.
Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river. Has some nice parks and large town square. Not as cute as some other Czech towns but is home to the original Budweiser. Do the tour to learn all about the beer and taste it. The Hluboka Castle is 30 minutes north of the city. If you have time rent a car or use the public transport (bus or train) to go see it. It’s a beautiful, Winchester palace inspired castle. Large ground territory and free to explore. You can pay to do tours inside the castle but walking outside the castle is already worth the visit.

It's not a flashy city.
It's not a flashy city. The vibe was more a working city, not really on the tourist route, but it has a nice, quiet quality. The Old City Center is small and very walkable, though not as big and famous as Český Krumlov - and also not as expensive. It makes a nice stopover between Linz and Prague, with a visit to Český Krumlov in between.

The young woman who checked us in deserves the highest praise for her devotion to her job. We were having a problem finding a place to park our car. She went above and beyond to help us, even leaving the hotel to move her own vehicle to let us have her parking space. That is customer service above and beyond. We have visited CB many times before and this location allowed us close access to the city center.
Hotel is very centrally located, in the heart of the old city, only 20 min walk from the Main Train Station (the central bus station is also by the train station).
Quiet street. Clean room. Bathroom was small but quite adequate for 1/2 people. There was a little fridge in a room, stocked with drinks/water (for sale). Nice breakfast.
We like that the hotel has a 24hr check-in and the location is ideal. We can arrive there anytime by car. The hotel is very clean and has a very good breakfast buffet. Everything is well organized and the staff is very friendly. We have just booked it the third time for another stay.
Excellent location right in the center of Budweis, so everything is in foot distance, public transportation (even the main train station) is just minutes away. The room was beautiful and clean and the completely independent check-in and check out procedure was great!
Hotel perfectly located on the main square, meaning a nice view for the breakfast. The building itself is also beautiful.
The staff was professional, and the housekeeper very kind and helpful.
Always nice to have a restaurant on site.
The hotel was amazing value for money. It's actually not so far to the centre (10 to 15 minutes walk, straight along a road, so really easy). Such friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Clean and with excellent facilities.
My first stay at this hotel. Very nice hotel close to the city center. Reallly good breakfast with many choices. I was lucky getting a room on the 14th flour with a fantastic view over the city of Ceske Budovijece.
Hotel was wonderful. The staff was very nice. Everything was clean. They gave us free parking for our stay. Location is a five minute walk from the city center. We enjoyed our stay. I other words it was beautiful!!
Wonderful hotel in the center of the town, right next to the river. Parking is available on-site, the staff was incredibly kind, and the breakfast was quite good. Would certainly stay here again!
The breakfast was great and the room was nice and very clean. Overall the hotel had a very cool style. The staff was super helpful and friendly! The location is right in the center of the city.
Location and comfort of bed 🛏 both amazing. Maybe you should change the toilet paper to more layers. Other than that just a great choice to stay in České Budějovice and I will stay again 😎
Great location in centre of České Budějovice, good price for a room and tasty morning breakfast. Hotel has its own parking, but do not expect it to be free.
