We got an apartment and it was huge and clean. Living room with A/C and a big room with A/C, bathroom, hot shower, kettle, tea and water, space for luggage, big bed, nice pillows, tv. Wifi worked perfect. Our first recepcionist Mina, was a friendly man, check in was quick, room was ready at 1 pm, he gave us all the information needed as places to visit, how much was a taxi fare from different places to the Hotel. Breakfast was nice: omelet, veggies, tea, water, fruits, juice, cheese, jam and yogourt. Lady in reception was very friendly as well. Was easy communication. We like the fact we were told electricity was gone from 3 pm to 5 pm. About location, it was good for us, 10 mins to the main road close to the sea, we walked around till late, it was safe, uber was easy to use as well.
The apartment isnt in the main building, it is next door, little dark building but there was a security guy during the day and night.

Honestly, one of the best stays I've had in Alexandria. The location is spectacular with direct sea views in many rooms. The reception, house keeping, room service and restaurant staff were polite, welcoming, friendly, and accommodating
My room was upgraded prior to my arrival on very short notice upon my request. Mr. Ayman Zein from the hotel's reception/guest relations is one of the best hotel staff members I've ever dealt with. He'd follow up on a daily basis in case I needed something and would always look for feedback to improve/accommodate my stay as much as possible.
I'd definitely recommend the Sheraton to anyone looking for a wonderful private stay in Alexandria especially since the hotel is planning to open their private beach passes by June 2024.

I liked the location, it was very close to the beach (only 3 min walking). Every thing was clean and the breakfast was good. Mr. Ashraf is a helpful descent man who responds to our all requests. They allowed us to keep our luggage for hours after checkout. We felt safe and comfort. It is a highly recommended place.

Perfect location on the Mediterranean waterfront yet conveniently in the heart of the city. The friendly and helpful host family have owned the hotel for many years. and we enjoyed its historic, although fading, charms. Our little balcony overlooked the sea with grand views of the coast line.

The place is in downtown, close to the libary of Alexandia. we had a peaceful night with my partner there and being hungry in a late hour, there were many places open there to offer fast food in the street.
We checked in late but it was not a problem at the reception. Our check in was easy.

Crazy traffic and noise, dangerous to walk as a pedestrian since there are almost no traffic lights and pedestrian crossings. Uber taxis are very cheap, but most of them drive like crazy and don't have functional seatbelts at the back seats. We found the best food and view at the Greek Club, and amazing croissants at the Croissant D'Alexis! Montazah park is beautiful and offers some fantastic views away from the traffic and the noise.

Visiting town centre, with its many suks, was one of the highlights. Major sights like the Library are well known. Less so the newly renovated Greek and Roman Art Museum. Our guide didn't intend to take us there but we insisted and were very pleased that we did as it is one of the most important museums in Egypt.

Everything is great there, whatever historical places or nature or atmosphere in the downtown in the night.

There is no place to take a pleasant walk in the city or spend time except the museum and library. It is a very ruined, chaotic, noisy, dirty city with terrible traffic, so walking or hanging around is not only unpleasant but also tiring. However, its library and Greco-Roman Museum are incredibly impressive. Other museums are very ordinary. Seafood dishes are very fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Therefore, I think 2 days are enough to visit this city; You can spend a lot of time in the library and the museum, take a coffee break in a cafe (the number of stylish ones is almost nonexistent), take a short city walk and see what looks like it and gain insight about the city and have a seafood dinner in the evening and continue on your way.

was a lovely hotel, staff all friendly, my only complaint is that everywhere you went you could smell cigarette smoke, people smoked in the lobby, and the corridors the rooms, even though my room was clearly labeled no smoking everything stunk of cigarette smoke including fresh bedding and towels. this for a smoker would be not noticed, but if like me and my daughters (all nonsmokers) it was enough to put a black cloud over the whole holiday .

I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandria.
I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandria. It is a big, bustling city, and parts of it are very dirty. However, there are so many interesting things to see, and it is pretty easy to get around, I used Uber. It’s a very interesting city, and I recommend giving it at least a few days.
This looks like a 5 star resort and we got ourselves a beach banglow, which is conveniently located on the Mammoura beach. The banglow is right infront of the beach and you could hear the roaring of the sea all day and night long. The breakfast was great to say the least which featured Egyptian traditional options, as well as continental and western dishes. The best breakfast we had during our stay in egypt. Must stay in Alexandria. You would not find anything better.
Staff were very helpful, the hotel was clean and they had attention to little details in the room (safe, amenities, complimentary fresh fruit, comfortable bedding)
The hotel looks great, it is a renewed historical building from the era of king Farouk of Egypt, they kept all the old characteristics of the building, it is in a quiet area and perfect for walking around.
Great breakfast.

A very recent and modern hotel. Room perfectly equiped. Every equipment seems to be new. Even the gym is very well equiped with modern machines.
Very nice breakfast.
Incredible quality of service from the workers (reception, spa, gym, breakfast).
The only and closest experience of a 5 stars we had during our whole stay in Egypt in 3 different hotels.
Madam Dina is the best person in all Egypt, always helpful and smiled. She was caring about me like about member of her family. Privet driver and boy from the reception were also very gentle. Definitely if I'm in Alexandria ill go back there. The city is so beautiful, you must also try some fruits which are more tasty than in Europe 😍
Staff , specially Esraa in front office , she was sooo nice , helpful and friendly ...
Breakfast was exceptional , the best breakfast I ever had in hotels in my life , inside and outside Egypt ...
The view from my room was stunning , lovvvved it ..
Room service food menu was full of varieties in very reasonable prices ...
Best nights sleep I’ve had since being in Egypt - bed very comfortable and little outside noise. The apartment was clean and as a solo traveler it was great to escape to from a hotel room with the extra space. Everything worked perfectly including the washing machine and Netflix. Definitely recommend
Nice hotel in a good location on the seafront. Very charming with grandiose and old-worldly decor. The staff offered impeccable service throughout our stay and the food in the beautiful rooftop restaurant (the mixed grill in particular) was probably the best food we had in Egypt.
Breakfast was standard Egyptian breakfast. The location was right on the beach, which is amazing and close to a great street market. Also, the lifeguard at the beach is one of the best I've ever seen, very attentive! All the restaurants and bars were beyond amazing!
pretty view of the sea, very clean that makes me feel I’m not in Egypt. there was a problem with water, and the host resolved it very well. friendly people, nice people, nice apartment. very clean! it’s as clean as a 4-star hotel! I loved here
Egyptus is perfect to have some relaxed days. If you are a traveler do not miss this opportunity. It is an oasis in Egyptian chaos. Go there and you will be prepared for future adventures. I highly recommend this place for travellers.
Lovely and polite staff.
Excellent location and amazing interior decoration; well presenting Egyptian royalty and rich history.
The restaurant terrace view is exceptional.
Special Thank you to all Staff 👌
