Convenient location, comfy bed and nice shower, overall it was a convenient stay. Oscar and other staff in the restaurant were really lovely and attentive (forgot the name of another lady, but she has shortish hair and wore a wrist brace)
Beautiful 1930's Art Deco building directly opposite Lincoln Castle and only a few minutes' walk from the Cathedral and historic Bailgate, with its selection of independent shops and restaurants.

Our room was well away from the pub so no noise.
Very clean and a lovely shower.
Breakfast was very good and service was the quickest I've ever encountered anywhere.
If you dine in the restaurant, I must recommend the scampi.
Menu was all good with a very plentiful servings.
The only down side was the mattress. It was far too soft and lumpy for us so we didn't sleep particularly well.
Renew the mattress ( room 9) and it would be perfect. :)
