Bellavista is a very beautiful property that has an outdoor seating area, is steps away from the beach, and offers daily cleaning. The property also offers breakfast daily. The front desk is available 24/7 and was always pleasant! The hotel is centrally located in Ostia, which is roughly 15min by car from Rome. There are restaurants and small grocery stores walking distance from the hotel, as well.

This hotel had the coolest ambiance...wonderful vintage travel posters throughout, multiple sitting areas indoor and out with comfy seating, books to peruse and real black n white photos on wall of Lido di Ostia from years back. Our room.. full ocean view terrace, totally updated/modernized with comfy bed/amenities. Had a completely different feel from any hotel we stayed in on our trip. We originally chose it for it's proximity to Roma FCO airport (15 min away), but felt so at home, we returned there for our last night in Roma before flying home.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The number 5 bus stop was across the road from the apartment which stopped across from the train station which took you into Rome. The beach was a walk away with plenty of facilities. Ostia is ok. The beaches are mostly private and you have to pay , they stop you to go in. There are couple areas pubic. It’s close to Fiumicino so it’s convenient to take a taxi…25euro. If you are looking for a relaxing time, the hotel is across the beach. It's far from Rome city, but there is a metro station about 7 to 10 walk from the hotel. There are a few very good restaurants nearby. I liked the beach clubs which are a few minutes walk from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a rented car so we could go to very beautiful beach ~10km south of Ostia, but there are also beaches, very good restaurant and a good fruit / fish / meat covered market just 5 min away on foot. There trains to go to Roma, Ostia antica is amazing. Since we had a rented car we also visited Tivoli (Hadrian Villa and Vlla d'Este) absolutely fantastic.
