The location is great, just an easy walk from the wharf. The room was comfortable however was hot, facilities are good and the people who own the business are really nice! Their food downstairs is delicious also!

The resort is tucked away on a beautiful beach. We were upgraded to a beach front room which was super unexpected and lovely. The room was modern, clean, spacious and perfect really! The pool area was an amazing place to relax & chill out. Wide variety of food and drinks at the resort restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed eating our way through the menu! There are also VERY cute dogs on the beach that come into the resort, all super friendly.
Charle, was the reason for such a wonderful review. From the moment we arrived he was attentive and friendly. He was always ensuring we had everything we need, and went above and beyond for our experience. He was able to assist us with laundry, and booking our boat to Sihanoukville on our departure date - he then ensured we were transported to the boat, waited with us, and ensured out luggage was handed personally to the boating staff. Honestly 10/10 - a pure asset to the resort. Thank you Charle, you truly are a legend! :)

Staff were very helpful and friendly and I liked the communal dinner except the first night included a can of beer each. The next night didnt so would be good if they had a blackboard of the menu and price for the meal up in advance.
Loved being able to use the kayak and paddleboard. Thank you.
This is more backpacker accommodation not hotel or resort style accommodation. We had a few issues with our room which they fixed quickly.
Well done for providing free water bottle refills. Thank you.
Lots of seating areas to chill. This is a nice rustic place to stay and chill at while being near the local community.

I had a lovely stay here- the location was perfect- close to lots of restaurants and bars yet quiet at night, right next to a great sunset view. I stayed in the single hut- the bed was comfortable and there was a fan that worked well.

The bed is literally 20m away from the sea, it’s just perfect to wake up and go for a swim. The bungalows are very cute and pretty.
The breakfast and food overall was delicious with lots of vegeterian (but yummy!) options. Prices also super reasonable with nice atmosphere at night with the torchs and chill music. We barely ate in other places and I can tell it’s really the best place to stay in Saracen bay if you want an authentic experience full of charm.
Nice for walks. nice bays, beaches. The nicest beach and resort i think is lazy beach I think. It is more remote very much built into the jungle and layed back , snorkling available - good corals if the water is clear apparently. You can walk from there accross to the main beach: Saracene bay, not far.

Prior to travelling to Sanloem I read online that there are no roads on the island and was therefore quite shocked to see the massive, wide, bulldozed dirt roads that had been carved into the island's untouched jungle. Upon investigating the matter, we found out that a Chinese owned company has rented half of the island from Cambodian government and is planning on building big hotels and casinos around the island. So, what you saw during your visit year ago is totally different from this year. I dread to think what the island will looklike in 5-10 years time.

Long Time Visitors to Koh Rong Sanloem.
Long Time Visitors to Koh Rong Sanloem. Stayed at Lazy Baech for many years when it was only accommodation on Island and Saracen Bay was development free and a 25min walk through Jungle. Now they have cleared a 4 lane road through the Jungle from Saracen Bay to Lazy Beach. Just stayed at M'pai bay for first time and it my new favorite location in Koh Rong Sanloem. Nice village feel in nice bay with a fantastic main beach around the headland that is not developed. Lots of great Food and Drink options and allround friendly owners.

Nice and quiet island, small enough to cover the main sights on foot. We loved lazy beach but weren't so impressed by Saracen bay. This is mainly because of the amount of rubbish in the water/sand but I guess it depends on the currents/wind. The island itself has very basic facilities and reduce accessibility, I don't think it would be suitable to someone on a wheelchair or using crutches.

This is a great place to relax and sit around on the beach, plenty of activities if you want but we just relaxed.
We ate at Saracen Bay Resort most of the time, great food and very reasonably priced, seemed to be cheaper than other places along the beach.

Excellent location right in the middle of the bay where there is a line of hotels with tables in the sand on the beach in the evening. The beach in this area is also kept nice and tidy, while elsewhere there are a lot of abandoned places after covid, and rubbish laying around. Very large and clean room and bathroom with a nice sitting area outside with a table and chairs. Tips: 1) If you intend to walk to or from the pier, try to arrive and leave during low tide! 2) do NOT miss out on seeing the stone carvings near Lazy beach.
I had the most enjoyable stay at ThmorDa. The location is incredible and is one of the best spots to watch the sunset. There are steps that go down to the water where you can snorkel. Right when you get in the water you can see tons of fish and bright corals. The room was beautiful and had a really comfortable bed. The resort is quite large and has lots of different outdoor artwork and great spots for pictures. The staff was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
Julia and Oscar were really nice and welcoming, allowing us to change bungalow once and helped us organize a private taxi boat from Mpai Bay (the beach is only reachable by boat or a 30-minute trek through the jungle from Saracen Bay). The bungalows are located in the top corner of sunset beach, the most beautiful beach of Koh Rong Sanloem, from where we saw some of the best sunsets we have ever seen. Food is excellent! Happy hour is also a must.
Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, nice bungalows and beach. Great location near the pier (make sure to take the right ferry). A few lounge chairs spread along the beach under the palm trees to relax, a giant swing to watch the stars at night. We swam at night and saw the bioluminescent plankton! Food at the restaurant was good. Friendly staff, especially the two at reception. Water refill station to reduce plastic bottles is good.
This hotel was absolutely fantastic and we were so glad we decided to stay here. It's in a fab location right by the pier and staff were there to help with bags. The hotel is on the quieter part of the beach which we loved as we could then walk to the bars/restaurants in the evening. Really cute rooms which were cleaned daily. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed our cocktails by the pool during Happy Hour.
The property is very nicely located on the remote Sunset Beach of Koh Rong Sanloem and offers a lovely beach bar with a beautiful sea view. There is nice food available at the accommodation (especially the Lok Lake;)). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much again for including us in the Khmer New Year festivities! A perfect place for travelers who seek a remote place to relax.
Sarasea Resort was a lovely stay. We stayed in a bungalow right on the beach after having been very kindly upgraded for free! The room was spacious and comfortable and the communal area was nearby and very lively. The staff were so friendly and we played pool with them every night, it was a real family atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Koh Rong Samloem.
Beautiful location at a beautiful beach. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a private beach a 25 min walk from Saracen Bay, but the it also offered a free ride with a tractor so that we didn't have to carry the luggage. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely recommend it!
Was a great stay as the island it beautiful with all the clear water, white sands and sun. Hotel room was good and clean. Hotel is location on the beach so prime location but a lot of the other beaches away from this main strip are quieter and have better water as this main bay seems to be more polluted.
I saw in one of the reviews about this property that this is the best resort in the entire Asia; I think that reviewer is right. I am from the Philippines and have gone to a lot of great beaches in our islands, but Saracen did not disappoint. I'd consider going back here. Amazing beach, quiet place.
Quiet location next to pier for GTVC speedboat. PLenty loungers and shady areas. Breakfast choice good, no real difference to other restuarants. Fridge in room unlike other hotels on the beach. Lovely view and clean sandy beach. Great staff speak english really helpful.
Location & the quietness of the hotel and resort, staff were all fantastic and very helpful. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach. Rooms are clean and well presented. Swimming pool soon. Good value for money. Happy hour is a nice touch.
The location is great, staff is wonderful very helpful. It's on the beach, no pool tho.
the private room is very nice, AC, the bed is comfortable, walking distance from lazy beach, had boat tours. Had a great time there
The atmosphere of the place is amazing. The location, the great staff, the restaurant... Giving just the perfect vibes for that place.
If you are looking for chilling, this is the best hotel in Saracen Beach.
Best hostel to stay in Koh Rong Sanloem. Great facilities, loads of hammocks to chill and everything just at the beach. Good services around the island and taxi boat to main pier.
A great place to stay when you visit Koh Rong Sanloem. Suzi makes you feel very at home. Loved my time there ended up staying 3 weeks. Hope to return again in the future.
The hotel staff is super helpful and friendly, and the location is just perfect. Beautifully designed, especially loved the small routes from the restaurant to the room.
