Kuwait is a lovely country to visit. It is easy and cheap to get around in taxis and people are generally helpful and friendly.
I loved their malls, especially The Avenue. I also enjoyed going to the Friday market as they had a huge range of things to purchase. I particularly liked the traditional pieces. There are lots of fancy restaurants to choose from too with great choices.
Kuwait has beautiful beaches and that was surprising at first.

People are extremely friendly and helpful, both local people and the people from foreign countries. The country is beyond my imagination, as there are quite a number of things to see and not very touristy.
Please be prepared for a slightly longer time for everything in Kuwait, as things do not work as you are used to in other countries. Examples would be like, luggage claim might take longer time than usual; When you find the post office on google map, the post office might already be closed down permanently; You get a bus ticket on the City Bus app but just to find their system is down when you get on the bus and the driver denies your in-app ticket purchase; Traffic is a bit slow in the city center; The public bus changes way but google map still follows the old way etc etc. To sum it up, it is still in the stage of preparing itself for the tourists, and probably that's why it's less touristy and people are friendlier.

I enjoyed my trip to Kuwait.
I enjoyed my trip to Kuwait. The weather was great (35C) and it was really nice to go to the beaches. Abundant of restaurants and malls. We walked quite alot around the center and explored for example the Kuwait towers, the grand Mosque and the Mubarakia old market. Since most people travel by car its not the easiest place to walk around, but it wasn't a problem. We felt very safe the whole time everywhere we went, everybody was willing to help and nobody is there to scam you.

We loved Kuwait.
We loved Kuwait. The souk was wonderful, the restaurants were great. I'd suggest visiting as many of the highlights as possible. Focus on restaurants that locals frequent versus "cultural" restaurants that are more for tourists. I wish we had a few more days in Kuwait.
Avenues Mall, Fourth Section (the newest section) is a must visit, even for the mall loather. What a mall!

The weather at this time was excellent.
The weather at this time was excellent. The people are very lovely and friendly. Transportation depends on taxis, which are very cheap - no public tram/metro. Mubarakiah Souk, and Alasemh shopping mall are one of the most places you should visit it.
Swiss-Belboutique Bneid Al Gar Kuwait with Starbucks at the ground.
Great location, friendly staff and they were very welcoming and accommodating. The housekeeping staff was efficient and attentive. Lovely well maintained facilities and the room was big, clean and tidy with good value for money considering the central location and plenty to do around the place. They have their own Starbucks coffee shop at the ground floor inside the hotel.
I am usually lowcost traveller and this hotel was one of the best I had ever, because I usually take cheaper and not so high quality accomodation. And now I decided to take this comfortable hotel for my staying in Kuwait and everything was perfect for me - comfortable big bed, nice view from the 13th floor, free swimming pool, friendly and helpful staff, cleaning service...
If I travel to Kuwait next time, I will take this hotel again.
The hotel is centrally located in downtown Kuwait City. You have access to a mall that is connected directly to the hotel. In addition, the hotel provides shuttle service to and from the airport, which was nice. Furthermore, the hotel has a good gym, outdoor lap pool, as well as a sauna and steam room. The staff is very friendly, kind and professional, and the rooms are a decent size.
The hotel is located at walking distance from the Kuwait Towers and some nice beaches, near bus stops, mini markets and restaurants. Our room was large and comfortable, with a very nice view from the window. Moreover the staff helped us going out in the hottest hours of the day by giving us the hotel umbrella. We would certainly recommend this choice.
It is one of the best hotels in Kuwait, a comfortable and clean hotel, and the staff were very wonderful, Essam, Sarah, and Waseem. The beach is beautiful, the outdoor facilities are beautiful, and the restaurant and breakfast had many options and very wonderful. The restaurant staff were wonderful, Tariq and Ibrahim, the stay was beautiful.
The staff were very cooperative and very kind, they provided us with everything we needed from help and ease in entering the rooms and when leaving the hotel and carrying the bags in addition to the rooms were very clean as well as the restaurant. I also really enjoyed the view of the sea and Kuwait Towers when I look from my room window.
The hotel is outside of the main touristic sites of Kuwait but is easy to find. Check-in is super fast (just get your visa readily available). My room was huge with a large closet cabinet with hangers. The bathroom is a good-size one. Wi-Fi is excellent so I had no problem uploading pictures and videos onto my blog.
This hotel is a great choice when you travel to Kuwait. It is a new hotel, close to the city center and also close to the beach. Everything was clean and nice with amazing personnel. I was leaving the hotel at 1 am and they provided me a full support to be at the airport on time.
Very large rooms. Location is ok and close to a few museums but not close to main Kuwait towers or shops. Taxis are easy to get. Mcdonalds nearby and also several shops. Area seems safe to walk at night. All hotel staff are very pleasant and polite.

It was a special stay at the Regency Hotel. Thanks to all the hotel staff, especially Shehab for his courteous treatment at the time of check-in and brother Saber for his professional service and see you soon again.
