The city is small but there are many supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
It is convenient and travelers have many options to enjoy food.
However, the government should do something to control boda boda for more safety of citizens and travelers.

I was reading and collecting some information about city securities, I think they are over exaggerating, only if you follow the roles, and security measure. However, people of Kampala are so kind and helpful, you don't realize that till you get to know the people and culture. I will never forget such a wonderful place and people. I wish I come back there one day.

I loved Uganda , Kampala a busy city I was surprised how developed the country is, the roads are outstanding puts the UK roads to shame . people were friendly and so respectful , so much to see the Kampala tour was so interesting learned so much about Uganda there is so much to see you have to plan in advance so you can take in everything . 10 days was too short I will definitely visit again this year .

I liked the cost of food quite cheap.
I liked the cost of food quite cheap. Wonderful and hospitable people. Good WiFi connection and almost stable power and water supply in the region I stayed in. The weather although is cloudy and rainy mostly but it feels hot and sweat every time I go out. The roads are clean but a lot of breaks and holes needed maintenance. I loved the motorbike transport system “Boda” as the most convenient way considering the roads nature but they are just too many, and very risky. I hope if they abide by the traffic light rules similar to cars. Quality budget hotels and apartments few options and more expensive compared to Nairobi. It definitely worth the visit but needs careful planning.

I only stayed one night and most of the day I caught up on my sleep after a long flight. The hotel was fabulous as there was three different restaurants to eat, one had live music (Jazz) and the other was showing a rugby match which was enough to entertain me for the duration of my stay.
After a week of misfortunes in Kampala, I was glad to find African Tribe. From the warm welcome reception to the services offered I felt right at home.
The hotel is easy to locate and access, has good WIFI, a nice restaurant for meals and for the party lovers, mmh you won't be far from some good spots.
Thanks to Rita for taking good care of me and recommending some amazing things to do and thank you Raymond for literally reminding me of home when I needed it the most.
I would stay at African Tribe again and again while in Kampala.
The hotel seems newly built the amenities are new and a bit modern compared to other Kampala restaurants.
It’s also very clean, neat and well kempt.
I had an issue with the staff but some are very friendly the few trained ones. The receptionist on 27/3/22 morning (unfortunately I didn’t get his name)was very willing to help and even guided me on directions .The lady at the restaurant is also very friendly.Kudos to the two they made my stay lovely.
We had a great time! It was my mums birthday weekend and my sister and I gave her a treat. Not only did she get a birthday cake gift from the hotel...we, also did have a wonderful dinner/meal with great services from the waiters who attended to us. The following days were wonderful! Tasty and healthy breakfast with lots of variety (Trust me I am super picky). Overall, we had a great stay and we would be back again someday.
The best place to stay in Kampala.
The villa is lovely with a luscious garden.
The rooms are very spacious, well maintained, and super clean.

We chose to use the services of the cook and we don't regret it!
The food is delicious, authentic, Ugandan, and tasty.
The staff is excellent 👌🏾
We will definitely come back 😊
This hotel is beautiful, clean and exceptional. I wish I had more time staying here. If I ever find myself in Kampala, I will definitely stay here again. The team at the reception, warm and welcoming, the breakfast was great, they allowed us to sleep in and checkout late. You guys have no idea how much my friend and I loved this place. 10/10 recommend.
Spacious apartment in a quiet part of Kampala but still very close to Acacia and Akamwesi Malls and supermarkets nearby..
Comfortable beds and couch with a full kitchen.
Would have rated higher if internet functioned better and there wasn't a water shortage during my stay.
The host was very courteous and considerate.
Quick response and easily reachable.
She was very flexible with timings.
The location gives you a view of Kampala from the balcony at night. The facility is clean and well equipped with everything I needed for my short stay.
The cleanliness from inside the rooms, to the spacious common areas. They do a good job tidying up the entire hotel. The workers are mostly friendly and show dedication to their jobs. They have a wonderful breakfast with a wide selection of food items.
Nice hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, attentive staff. Modern furniture, bathroom and electronic devices. Excellent food and beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. Perfect for a short-term (business or leisure) stay in Kampala.
The property sits on top of one of the many hills in Kampala. The view is amazing with Lake Victoria in view in the distance.
The hotel itself is exceptional with the deco and artwork and the many different corners making it visually great.
The room and hotel were a total vibe and spotless as well. The English breakfast I had was very tasty and of decent portion size. The staff were extremely helpful with recommendations for getting around Kampala as well as attentive.
