Breakfast was good and area was clean. More choices on weekend was better than the fewer choices during the week. Live music by pool was nice.

There needed to be more options for breakfast or at one that was easily found. We asked and thought we booked an oceanfront room but sadly for our 1st anniversary that was not the case. We were very disappointed in not getting what we thought we paid for.

I liked our stay, but not enough to be charged twice for it which is what happened.
No one takes ownership of the charges, and no one answers calls or fixes anything.

Amelia Island, or rather, Fernandina Beach and the Seaside Inn Amelia Island are at the top of our east coast of Florida travel memories. We've stayed on the beach at St. Augustine, Flagler, Daytona, Ormond, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm, and Boca Raton. The quite atmosphere and perfect restaurant choices/locations on Amelia are terrific! If quieter, stress-free relaxation is what you are wanting, look no further.

My favorite spot was the beach at where we stayed Beachside Motel.
Walked out of my room and there it was. Riptide Rentals had my chairs and umbrella all set out for us. GREAT,. We ate at Salty Pelican 3 nights. That is how good it was. We ate at the Beach Diner for breakast and twice at Masons Lobster Rolls (which were exactly as I remembered in Maine) I could have eaten there every night. Baba's Mediterranean for lunch. Nanas pastry for dessert. No dissapointments all great.

In historic downtown, Cafe Karibo was OUTSTANDING and the BEST meal we had during our 4 day stay, hands-down.
Ciao restaurant in historic downtown was a bit of a disappointment...way too LOUD inside...food was "ehhh"...staff/service was "ehhh"...probably won't go back there...ehhh.
Met some really nice people at the bar at "Peppers" doing a couple shots before dinner, but the bartender was "ehhh"...not so much...

We loved the location and friendly staff.
We loved the location and friendly staff. The shower floor wasn't clean enough for me, I wore rubber sandals for protection. The blind on the view window was broken so I was unable to open fully to see the ocean. The furniture was good, a little used but understandable. It's a great room to relax. The roof top seating was a big plus! Loved it! Very clean!
Walking distance to Egan Creek, State park and ocean walk was perfect! Food was okay nearby but we liked the Salty Pelican more, plus the Western sunset is always a pleasure to see, only 2 miles from hotel.

Fernandina Beach is beautiful and the town is very interesting. It reminded me of a mini Savannah. There are great restaurants in all price ranges. The local history museum was perfect for a rainy day and the museum at American Beach was outstanding.

We loved it so much we ended up extending our trip a day!
We loved it so much we ended up extending our trip a day! Really cute downtown with a lot of restaurants, coffee, shops, and etc. I don't think I've ever been somewhere with such friendly people! On top of that, the seafood was amazing as expected haha! We loved Nana Teresa's Bake Shop for baked treats, Hola Cuban Cafe for coffee, and the Patio for great dinners and live music!
The property itself is beautiful. The hotel could use some tlc here and there,we got an excellent deal because it is an off week. I wouldn’t stay outside of that time and pay premium. But the service is top notch, everyone is exceptionally nice and helpful. The resort has everything, you do not have to leave. Restaurants are all great!! Been there 2 years in a row and will definitely return.
This is a 2-bedroom apartment in a beautiful condo. It's spacious, nicely appointed and has all the appliances you need. The Amelia Island beach is 6' away by foot.
The terrace is very pleasing.
There are restaurants within walking distance and many others 10' away by car.
The owner is very kind and helpful.
room was beautiful! we were able to enter our room early as the cleaning staff had completed the changeout. the staff was super friendly and helpful and it was the most enjoyable stay we've had in a long time. it was our first visit to Amelia Island but not our last! we will be back to stay!
Motel closed tried to check in around 2:30 pm - no one on premises to check us in.
Toured Amelia Island and returned after 4:00 - no one on premises. Had to turn around and finally found a hotel in St. Augustine. Please return all monies paid on this reservation. Thank you. David Howard
This hotel is perfect! It's right on the beach and they have a restaurant right next door which is extremely convenient. We had an ocean view room and watched the sunrise from our room, but also discovered they have a roof top which have a few tall chairs to sit up there and relax!!
The room and access to the beach deserve high ratings. The free breakfast was average to slightly above average, but not among the best "continental" breakfasts I've enjoyed at hotels over the years. The attendant who was overseeing the breakfast area was extremely courteous.
Decided to make a last-minute stop on Amelia Island and man did we luck out with this! Great location steps from the beach. Oceanside restaurant and bar right next to the hotel. Colby, one of the staff members, is just the best! Free parking. Good hot breakfast.
This hotel is brand new. It has a fab pool with a poolside bar and plenty of loungers. The room was really comfortable, large and well-appointed. The hotel was a couple of minutes from the beach and an easy walk to some great beach-side grills.
The location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel has it's own direct path down to the beach which is great. The pool is really nice, and there are facilities for washing off the sand as you come from the beach. Very friendly staff.
The location is great, with the beach literally right behind the hotel. Really clean and beautiful, and the little boardwalk makes for easy access! Rooms were cozy, clean, and had a great amount of space!
We were the only party staying at the hotel that night. No property manager present during the short stay and had to check out early due to poor conditions!
