With over 9 decades of history, the iconic Fairmont Peace Hotel was a favourite with the local elite and foreign celebrities, including Charlie Chaplin. Lovely hotel that's filled with history and old world charm. The staff go out of their way to make the stay a most pleasant one. Highly recommended!

Room has a nice view to the city, size was spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast has several selections (western and asians). Location-wise is quite near to Nanjing Road and around the area there are places to eat and see. Staffs can speak English.
