First, the location was perfect for our stays. We used the trains several times and loved that our walk to the station was less than 3 minutes. Second, the rooms (we had 2 different rooms) were quiet and dark (which we have at home and love); third, the rooftop bar/breakfast area was extraordinary! Fourth, the thoughtfulness in the design of the rooms did not go unnoticed - reading lights bedside, charging areas next to bedside, the solid wood door that slides to block daylight, the complimentary refreshments in the drawer, the hair dryer and straightening iron, robes and slippers. Lastly, it's a testament to the bedding and linens - my husband and I slept great, and that never happens at a hotel. We loved our stay!

I surprised my husband for our 16years anniversary and it was all that I expected. We had an incredible time and everything was perfect. The breakfast in room was delicious, dinner was great too. The staff was also very friendly. We can’t wait to come back :)

Just metres from Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood features an award-winning restaurant and spa. With Edinburgh Castle just a mile away, guests have free WiFi access and large rooms. The hotel is in a great location. Handy for the Royal Mile but avoids the noise at night! Really close to Holyrood Palace. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

I'm not getting paid to write but this :-) but without exaggeration, the Virgin Hotel Edinburgh is simply perfect! Perfectly situated, exceptionnel, modern design and furnished rooms, perfect view to Edinburgh castle (which was right in front of us and could look at it while lying in bed), very clean and a great staff from front desk to breakfast service! We even got a little treat for our wedding anniversary. From now on, I definitely know where to stay whenever I visit Edinburgh! Thank you for some memorable days, Virgin Hotel!

Personale gentilissimo, ti coccola fin dal primo momento accogliendoti con un bel bicchiere di prosecco da sorseggiare mentre si fa il check in. Colazione ottima portata direttamente sulla porta della camera. Atmosfera deliziosa e decadente! La nostra stanza era un po' piccola perché ispirata all'orient express, ma è ottima per chi si ferma una sola notte. Non ne abbiamo usufruito, ma c'è la super chicca: il bottone per avere latte e biscotti direttamente in camera! Ottima per chi cerca un breve soggiorno di coccole a 500 MT dalla royal Mile.
