Aurea has become my favorite hotel in Budapest. After staying there for the fourth time, I can confidently say that it offers everything you’re looking for in a great hotel — from caring staff, cleanliness, to a superb location. A huge shoutout to the Aurea staff for their amazing hospitality! Special thanks to the ladies who arranged the business room for my online exam and followed up the day after. Also, a big thank you to Bruno, who allowed my mother to rest a bit longer with a late check-out. Thank you for being so caring and understanding.

Set in a historic building from 1892, the Parisian-style Gerlóczy Boutique Hotel is located in the historical centre of Budapest. Excellent central location. Just a short walk to many historical tourist sites. A huge selection of excellent shops, retaurants and pubs. It's a beutiful hotel. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor is perfect for a coffee or evening meal. The breakfast is superb and the service excellent. I have no hesitation recommending the Gerlozcy Hotel to anyone visiting Budapest.
