Only 4 room at hotel so it is very private

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. Food was awesome and they were accomodating towards our preferences. The futons were extremely fluffy and comfortable. We had the river room and the spacious room and amazing view was phenomenal. Super memorable stay with super attentive and friendly staff. The baths were fun and had great history to them. I think it's a sodium chloride spring with some sulfur content for the most part and I think there's another spring that's slightly different. They also swap around the baths morning/evening so that the guests can enjoy different ones!

Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan features 5 hot-spring baths, including a 30-metre long cave bath. Majoituspaikassa otettiin todella hyvin asiakkaat huomioon ja palvelu oli ystävällinen. Erityisen mukavaa oli, että meille japania osaamattomille selvitettiin tarkkaan englanniksi, miten majoittuminen perinteisessä ryokanissa ja onsenissa tapahtuu. Onsenissa oli monipuolinen allasvalikoima, joista nautimme erityisesti yksityisestä onsenista heti saavuttuamme. Ateriat olivat miellyttävä nautinto. Vierailumme sisälsi täsmälleen sen, mitä japanilaiselta onsenilta odotimme.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Such an amazing stay! The staff is lovely, and the service was exceptional. The scenery was amazing! I am definitely coming back here!!!

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Best meal service I ever had. 板橋-Chan was so helpful even she is not fluent in English. She even took care of my mum who has allergy.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... wondering services, great location, very traditional room and clean and neat, the onsen inside the room is excellent

Ryokan Wakaba tarjoaa japanilaistyylistä majoitusta rauhallisella vuoristoalueella. Majoituspaikan tilavat kuumalähdekylvyt sisällä ja ulkona ovat vehreän luonnon ympäröimiä. We enjoy the onsen very much. The dinner and breakfast is fantastic and delicious. The staff very friendly and helpful. Will come back again.

Only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring district, Ryokan Ichinoi offers Japanese-style accommodations with Japanese Yukata robes. High chance of getting the onsen to yourself (hotel guests only in the evenings, and there are probably less than a dozen rooms). And it's a very nice indoor+outdoor onsen! Huge traditional breakfast in private little booths was amazing.

Kurokawa Mori No Kiki is set in the Kurokawa Onsen district of Minamioguni, 49 km from Kinrinko Lake. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. We travelled to Kurokawa onsen Mori No Ki Ki by driving from Kumamoto, it took us about 2 hr. The staff (or the owner) was so kind and willing to facilitate and keen to support us nicely. We were so much impressed and appreciated. The house was so clean, the onsen was good. Home made bread was excellent. We suggest the visitor should come before the evening as to see the sign clearly. The sign showing the accommodation name a bit small comparing to the others, so you may miss when it is dark. The rest are excellent, if you like peace and relax with warm heart, you may like this one.
