Situated in Vicuña in the Coquimbo Region region, Astro Camping Experience has a patio. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The campground also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

Excellent location close to all the major attractions of the region and a river to swim in within walking distance. The river water is amazing and not as cold as one would expect. Amador, Matias and Karlijn (volunteer) were excellent hosts who readily share all relevant information on the region and make great recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable. Visiting the wine farm (Cavas del Valle), the brewery (Guayacán) and the pisco farm (ABA) is a must. Valle de Elqui is a magical place.

We stayed in a dome, and there was plenty of room for the three of us. I was able to book my reservation just the day before, and they contacted me to confirm it. The front desk girl, and the people we interacted with were nice and friendly.

Max has created a really beautiful place in the middle of the mountains. Great relaxing atmosphere, if you enjoy being in nature it's the right place for you. Nice tents with comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea for free. I really would have loved to stay for some more days. Max also gives great tips on what to do in the area, so trust him, he knows 😉

So peaceful and quiet. Absolutely amazing star watching. Max the owner is lovely. Picked me up from town and took me on a day trip to the local river. The tent was great and the bed super comfy with a hammock and sofa out front to enjoy my morning coffee and the views

It feels like coming home. Richard and Mary could not be more welcoming or kind. The breakfasts are all extremely good but I would recommend that you try the Lebanese breakfast, a complete meal in itself...we didn't need lunch or dinner afterwards! The cabin we had was very clean, comfortable and spacious. A bonus is that there is a laundry service available at a very reasonable price. The restaurants that Richard recommended were all excellent, but by a whisker the Italian was the best.
