Room exactly like the pictures, very comfy room, nice bed and wide toilet with separate shower (not common in Asia). The building itself is beautiful and there is a rooftop with great view to Taj Mahal. Family who run this place is kind and friendly. Location is good, 8 min walking to the east entrance of Taj Mahal, there are a few restaurants and shop in the area.

The homecooked dinner and breakfast was delicious. The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was very comfy. Overall, we would liked to stay there longer.

The room was not cleaned during the entire stay. The price is cheap. But there are a lot of deficiencies in the equipment. There is only fan, no air conditioning. The area is not that great, but like everywhere in Agra except Taj Mahal. The staff are friendly, except for the gentleman at the reception who almost wanted to write my review for me when I checked out.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Agra. The room was comfortable and equipped with air conditioning, which was a blessing in the heat. The highlight was definitely the rooftop view of the Taj Mahal, which was absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Agra.

The Orchid Retreat is very close to the Taj Mahal and located approximately 20 minutes from the railway station by Tuktuk. All in all, great homestay with amicable staff and a clean room with a comfy bed.

Staff were very friendly and they even took us on an evening walk with some free chai. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was so comfy, we slept very well. Great location, clean and great view from the terrace cafe! (You can see the Taj)
