The family is super sweet. They rent out scooters for a fair price, with helmets. I loved playing with their cats. IF you're planning to take the train the morning after, it's very close to the station. The room is clean and comfortable. I very much appreciated that there was a squeegee in the bathroom so we can keep the bathroom clean in between housekeeping. The property is located on a small but steep hill. It takes about 30 seconds of climbing, so I don't think it's an issue for most healthy people but it's a good information to have.

We stayed in the tent. The waterfall view is stunning and it really feels like you are in the lap of nature. It’s like an adventure feeling, but with the luxury of a lovely tent (with lots of chill out space) and a nice bathroom. The staff is very sweet and made super nice Sri Lankan dinner for us. We would highly recommend the tent if you would like an adventurous experience in nature and yet comfortable. First day we just chilled in the tent and second day went for the Ella rock hike which starts right from the property. You need to take full tuk to go to Ella main town

One of kindest and sincere service received. Very friendly staff. Dananjaya +94773259104 The food is delicious cooked by Danajaya him self. Sambol, daal curry, egg and sprats with plain rice was a heavenly feeling . Desert was served. From the moment we arrived we felt the ambiance of the place which was very calming and relaxing. Rooms were very clean and included all the basic requirements with WiFi. (Bring your own toilet amenities) I was surprised to see a forestly environment like this so close to the Town and train station. Danajaya Fixed us a threewheel (Sampath +94768331648) to travel around and goes on any rough terrain. Sampath took care of us nicely helping us to plan the tour and stayed till our trip ended. Dananjaya helped us with the decorations for the birthday party we celebrated For the night, arranged a bonfire to make our stay special .(Seperate charges) The next morning we had String hoppers potato curry nd chicken curry which was great as our first day meal. Concept of the tents is remarkable and we would definitely recommend this place and we will visit this place again as this was an unforgettable experience.
