We were warmly welcomed and the place is loved by adults as well as children. Asanka's wife Sadamali prepared our dinner and it was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. The hotel arranged the safari. The jeep driver who provides excellent service is the best guide. The sound of the river is like a bavana throughout the night. Love it.

En fantastisk opplevelse, liten teltleir/camping helt alene ute i naturen. Veldig behjelpelig og hyggelig personale som hjalp oss med blant annet booking av Safari og transport.. svært enkel og god kommunikasjon, alt fungerte optimalt.. Vi hadde i tillegg en strålende matopplevelse med diverse sri lankiske retter - servert under åpen himmel med leirbålet i bakgrunnen. Barna og vi likte spesielt godt padleturen på elva samt «natturen» i nærområdet - fikk smake og lukte på diverse krydder og vekster.. Teltene gav den riktige stemningen⭐️🌴 et minne for livet Kan varmt anbefale overnattingen og hele «safariopplevelsen», men husk du er på camping så hvis man forventer flis på badet og ingen insekter kan du nok bli skuffet

Great location, friendly and kind owner, delicious and delicious food. The best is the elephant safari. The best driver is a valuable guide who is very knowledgeable and amazing in spotting animals/birds.The accommodation is the best design built by the owner.

The chief at the restaurant was super good, I wasn’t able to find anyone in Sri Lanka who could satisfy my food needs like this place. staff entirely were very friendly and makes you feel like home. It was one of my best moments in Sri Lanka

A wonderful place set by a little river where I could see monkeys in the trees from my veranda.. Don't get scared of the word tent, it's more like a room with material walls, better than many other rooms I have stayed in. I went on a safari they arranged and their guide/driver was very good. He even sat up chairs and a little table for us in the open when it was time for the breakfast he had brought. After a day on safari it was nice to cool off in the well kept pool at the guesthouse. The food in the restaurant was very good. I really liked the place and I can highly recommend it.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the pool area was nice. They arranged the safari to Udawalawe National Park. The driver took us around the park.

Madu was amazing as host. He made sure that all of the food was suitable for the 5 year old. He also arranged our Safari, which was great as well! We really like the "tents" - which were actually little houses, everything was super clean, and even though it was 35° outside during the day, we did not even need the AC during the night, as the tents are in between trees. We also like the access to the river for a swim in the morning, We definitely recommend to stay there!

Super kind and friendly staff. Definitely the best of the camp. The tents are super well equipped. You feel you are in a camp without compromising on comfort. The setting is very nice, and the vibe at night is awesome with the bonfire and the fire lamps. Great option to stay one night if you want to do safari in the afternoon and in the morning.
